Our son who is new to FISD is struggling with math and focus. Within a short time, a tutor was assigned. JaMaya, our son's tutor is kind, gentle, and attuned. She notices when our son needs redirection or mental breaks. She is patient with teaching and comes to his level. She tries out different strategies in her teaching to ensure he gets the concepts.
