What a big disappointment it was the day after I had a gel manicure and pedicure with Angela and I was about to leave for Spain for my daughter's wedding. Both of my feet and finger nails all but two completely peeled off. I contacted Angela directly but there was no resolution suggested except she was sorry. I had a great facial by Kimberly. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Her work area and the salon was very clean. Prices are good. My face feels great! My tinted eyebrows look very good. Sure glad I asked for that procedure (I usually forget!) If you need to get your back freshened up for swimsuit or tank-top season Kimberly has a wonderful scrub. Gotta love Vanity Salon! First of all, Jordan is the BEST at pedicures I have ever come across! (And I'm no spring chicken!). She doesn't rush through everything, gives an AWESOME leg and foot massage (I'll give you two hours to stop that, Jordan! lol), and is always friendly! No bad moods there! Then, Meagen Arnold, can I say WOW! What a colorist? I love crazy, bright colors in my hair (a minimum of three in may hair at any one time! She does exactly what I have in my head and puts it ON my head!! The other ladies (and gentleman) in the studio are also fabulous! I've seen the results of their work! I get so many compliments on my hair everyday..Mary Ann the owner is the bomb..when I first went in she cut 3 inches off my hair so it is now short...I trusted her with my head and ITS FRICKIN AWESOME..prices are so good too.. My daughter and I have been going to MaryAnn for months now and are both 100% happy with our hair! I also have a sister with long hair who is very picky, and she now comes from out of state to get trimmed by MaryAnn! I have long, difficult hair and she trims and layers it to perfection every time! My ombré/balayage comes out beautiful each time, with no damage to my hair. My daughter's hair also looks and feels great! The entire salon is clean, welcoming, and friendly. By far, the BEST salon in Havasu. Such a lovely group of talented experts! The atmosphere is happy, fun, and welcoming. After moving here a year ago, I have been in search of just such a salon. Lauren is an incredible nail tech . She is the sweetest person on earth and oh so talented! She also does microblading eyebrows. I really love my new eyebrows. Then I scheduled a consult with Mary Ann to fix the debacle that happen to my hair (straw yellow and orange, ask for before and after photos). I I had the worst experience with Mary Ann I went in Ahead of time to and showed her my hair and pic of what I was trying to achieve she said no prob. I let her know I wanted to make sure she could do it or I don't want to schedule of she can't. Made it very clear I don't want orange hair I want blonde and she assured me she could add more blonde and do like and ombré bayalage on my hair. We'll wish I could add a picture of the orange mess that was in my head!!! I asked her to fix it and said I didn't want to leave with this in my head and what was she going to do? She said the only was to tone again and make all my existing nice blonde blue to help take out the orange. Well I should have went with my gut I questioned her on was that a good idea as my orange didn't even look toneable (and it wasn't ) and I didn't think it was worth it to turn all my good existing blonde blue for no reason . She then got super irritated and said that is what she would have to do and it would work and she was booked for the next 2 weeks soooo !?!! I let her do it thinking she was the hair dresser she should know what she is doing Hahahah ya I left with orange and blue gray hair and my layers were like I had a bowl cut on top of my hair I had one big step cut and she said the blue would fade and sorry !!!!! Did she try to Scheduke me to fix it no ?? That is all I would have wanted for her to own up and say she made a mistake and to fix it or say I don't know how to fix it. I waited a few days and still nothing just awful looks and people were asking me what happens to my hair . I called and she did refund me no questions asked I was soo upset and embarrassed and she still didn't offer to fix it until brought up and said you said you would stand behind and make things right at my consult you didn't even offer to fix it or have me to come back you just let me leave like this how horrible is that I was embarrassed for weeks. Until I got in for someone to fix . And they felt so bad they did it for free !!! And then she is blaming me and talking about me to people said I made her feel so horrible and I was telling her what to do and questioning her I guess somehow make her self feel better she talks shit and blames others. you should feel horrible and You should be ashamed of yourself blamaing me for what you did.I was not going to write anything or say anything untill I head all of that how pathetic. So I would defiantly not recommend her EVER the other girls work there looked great so don't be discouraged to got to the salon I just wouldnt let her anywher near your hair.
