I came across Kree's Yelp page because of how close she was, but what really stood out was her website--the caliber and vibrancy of her photos were incredible. I knew right away she'd be a perfect fit for capturing my niece, both in her cap and gown and in her super colorful prom dress (which I was confident Kree could do justice!). From the moment I reached out, Kree was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The contract was simple and straightforward, pricing was fair and the breakdown of her packages were awesome. and she helped us agree on a time and location that worked perfectly, not far from our house either, which was a huge plus. This…read morewoman claims to be all about female empowerment but after booking a session for April 1st in her Pleasanton location, she called me two hours before my scheduled session to cancel because she was sick. I paid $1k for the session in addition to hundreds of dollars for outfits, hair and nail appointments. She offered to reschedule but when I shared I couldn't make that date weeks in advance and wouldn't be able to drive to her new location outside of the Bay Area, she refused to refund the money even though she canceled on me because "I had rescheduled." She then offered to refund half but never did and stopped answering my text messages. I had to place a dispute with my credit card company and am still working with them even though I have an email and text conversations from Heather herself stating she would refund the money. The way she does business and ghosts and cancels the day of is not reliable or fair given the circumstances especially when she cancels on her clients the morning of and offers no flexibility on refunds when she moved outside of the Bay Area and then ghosts on fulfilling her agreement to refund. This is a warning to take your business elsewhere to someone is who actually about female empowerment, fairness, flexibility and holding to their word when they as the business owner have to cancel and out me out of thousands of dollars someone who won't cancel the day of and then penalize you when you realize you can't afford another session with clothing rental and hair and nails. Had to put a star but be no stars given there was no service and she wasn't willing to refund given her cancellation on the day of and make an exception to her no refund policy for her illness and move 2 hours from original booked location.
