The big fella who runs the store was very rude and just not customer friendly, he was clearly angry and I'm almost certain he mumbled something racist under his breath as I walked out. I was looking for a local Vape Shop and I found a few hits on Yelp in my area, one of them was for Vape Crusades in Bridgeville. However, I noticed that the only public review was a single star review, and it was NOT good! I opened the review and saw that the reviewer felt that he was treated very poorly, as a result, and myself being new to vaping (with more questions than answers), I decided to stay away, in order to avoid possible ridicule and embarrassment from my lack of knowledge and overabundance of questions. Several weeks went by and I still hadn't found a store. So, since I was in the neighborhood, I bit the bullet and went in to seek help for an issue that I was having with an existing setup of mine. As soon as I walked in, I heard a very friendly "Hello, my name is Alex, how can I help you?" I shook Alex's hand and explained my setup problem and asked him if he could take a look and see the problem, and/or make some recommendations on how to get it right. He took the time to provide me with a very customized experience. I explained that I was new to vaping, and what my needs from it were, as well as what I was looking for. He took a look at my device, figured out what the problem was. Asked me what kind of action I wanted to take (which was to replace my atomizer), and, so as to not blackball me into an item that was beyond my price range and my needs, he made sure to ask me what I was comfortable spending and he found the perfect device for me; In fact, I like it better than my original one! He made sure it fit my battery, and made sure that it fired right and fit well on my existing battery. I happened to have my own eJuice (I vape CBD oil) with me, and he even showed me how to fill the new item that I purchased. This place was soooooo far in the polar opposite direction of what was described by that single-star-review that I can't even begin to explain it! I'm not saying that the Single-Star-Reviewer was being less than honest, but perhaps there were some extenuating circumstances that led to the events that had transpired during his experience? MY experience was so positive that they now have a customer for life and I highly recommend their shop to anyone that asks and/or will listen. PROS: Very helpful staff (Alex); Friendly atmosphere (it appears that you're welcome to just hang out, if you feel like it); Pricing is moderate; They make their own eJuice, customizable and on the spot, in the shop. CONS: They do NOT carry CBD oil/eJuice and I very much wish that they would! I can't get my stuff anywhere locally, I've only found it online and it takes forever to arrive. Vape Crusades, PLEEEEEASE consider making your own CBD oils soon!!!! NOTE: Alex, myself, and a nice kid that was hanging out talked about how cool and helpful tiny classes for newcomers would be. Classes for 2-3 people, to teach us how to putz around with rebuildables, etc. Alex actually told me that he's willing to teach anyone what they need to know, he enjoys sharing the knowledge! They post on their doors they open sundays 12-6 I have been coming every Sunday and no one is here to unlock the doors. Customers come up to the door and see they are closed and walk away. One your losing business and two your wasting people's time with false hours posted. read more

I've read the reviews about Vape Crusades and I have to disagree with the low-rated ones. As a relatively new vaper, I wanted to explore all the stores in Pittsburgh. Regretfully I haven't explored outside of Pittsburgh as I live in the south hills but I have gone to the stores in dormont, mt. washington, and moon (as I work and go to school at RMU). But I have to say, I love going to Vape Crusades. I will admit that I live relatively close but if I find a good shop then I'm gonna go no matter where it is. Vape Crusades has slightly higher prices than what you'd find online for hardware and they mostly have clones of mods. I am in the market for a sigelei 150 and they have a price at 150 while you can get it online for 110 - so do your research. Also, they only make their own juice, they do not have outside vendors so their flavors may not match up with what you're looking for. I myself like some of their flavors and they are truly reasonably priced and he can make whatever nicotine / pg/vg that you'd want. Lastly, after I read the reviews online saying really negative things about the owner, I have to say that Alex is one of the most friendly people I've met since I started vaping. The guy that answered the phone hung up on me twice, the second time he answered in Spanish and thought it was funny. No service, terrible business. I don't recommend going to this shop. They are childish, and don't respect there customers. read more
