You ever have a crazy day of "just not your day". Well that was my day today. Had to stay over in…read moreTexarkana longer than I thought, had a bad dinner experience at the Longhorn (see that review for that) and just wanted to go back to the hotel to watch some hockey. Came in on my first visit and was greeted by Angelina. Not like "hey welcome" she came from behind the counter to meet me in the store. I saw what I needed and grabbed it and checked out. Chatted a bit and she's a truly genuine person. Had a meeting and found out I was staying another night and remembered how welcoming and nice she was and decided to grab a protein shake before heading back to the ole hotel. As luck would have it, she was working again! So she remembered me and chatted some more. Told her I was here again and had some great convos. So much so I am writing a 5 star, which I very rarely do. On the way out she hooked me up with a 5 star shirt, which I'm wearing tomorrow due to my unplanned extended stay..to the gym. I cannot express the gratitude they showed. The kindness. The making ya feel special. Not in Texarkana much, but if I am I will most definitely be coming back.
