I think I was expecting something alittle more upscale for Boots, given the way its talked about. What I found was something like a drug-store Sephora or an upscale Rite-Aid. They lure you in with luxury make up, perfume, and skin care brands but they also offer everyday, lesser known beauty and health items and a drug store area for perscriptions. They even had a random assortment of swim suits and flip flops ina corner. It was a nice place to visit and Ill probably stop back in for some of the toiletries we forgot but not exactly the high end experiance I would looking for.

They have a location next to my doctors office, but sometimes if am heading up town I call in and have them prepare it at this location so I can easily collect it when I get to town to do my shopping. This location has a large beauty section as well, larger than most of the others in town and has a great selection of products you can't find elsewhere in Ennis. They don't have a huge free car park like the other location, but it is located in the centre of town, so that makes up for the parking sure.

I went to the pharmacy with blocked sinuses and was offered Fluticasone propionate nasal spray for…read morethe issue. I asked twice if it's a hormonal drug. I was told it's not. I got a huge headache two days in a row (I tend to react badly to hormones, which I avoid like hell). I went back to the pharmacy just wanting to clarify this and get a refund and an apology. Seems reasonable in my book. What happened was far from that... Instead of that I was lied to my face that they informed me it's a steroid drug twice. They did not tell me that at all. When I inquired further I was told that corticosteroids are not hormones by the owner himself. I questioned that as it's untrue and asked to check online. Instead of that the owner became aggressive and used an argument of authority with me (common fallacy). He asked me if I'm a pharmacist - I'm not so I have no say. After that he said he doesn't even need to even check as steroids are not hormones. They ARE synthetic hormones. No question about that. https://www.hse.ie/eng/health/az/c/corticosteroids/effects-of-corticosteroids.html https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/ss/slideshow-steroids-101 They made a mistake and can't even admit, apologize and issue closed. Instead of that they insult a customer and cover their asses as far as I understand. Once something bad happens these guys are completely useless. AVOID!
