Whenever you call to make an appt you're on hold waiting 45 mins sometimes, and no I'm not exaggerating! One time I went to see her because I was suffering from terrible constipation. I seriously woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall back asleep. I thought I was dying and called the ER who said to check with your PCP. I saw her, gave her my symptoms and she essentially belittled me and made me seem like I was crazy and not sure what I was talking about. I was giving her MY symptoms! I know what's normal and what's not! What I was experiencing was NOT my normal. During our conversation, I asked to use the restroom and my stomach hurt really bad. She ignored me and kept talking. She then had me get up on the table so she could feel my stomach, again I asked if I could use the restroom and she coldly said, "Just get up on the table!". Now if your patient is experiencing debilitating constipation, and they ask to use the restroom suddenly, wouldn't you want them to go?!? At the end of the consultation, all I got was a copay and a referral to a receive an x-Ray. Nothing to tell me how to relieve my pain, medicine such as laxatives, nothing.

(Michigan urgent care, IEP urgent care, and lastly Emcura) MI urgent care was very dirty, IEP misdiagnosed me, and on my third time Emcura took care of me like no other place had. I am so grateful for the staff and doctor (Matt) who had the patience to get to the root of my issue after I had already been to an urgent care the day before. The only downside is they don't have online appointments but just call ahead and ask the wait. I was taken back in 10 minutes. I am so happy I found this place or I would not be feeling so much better. If you don't know where to go for your urgent care needs - this is it!!!

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. They didn't take me back until 2:15. The doctor did not come in the room until sometime around 3:30pm. I went to ask if they perhaps forgot about me (this actually happened to me at a different place) and they assured me that this long wait is normal. What? If it's normal then perhaps trying to come up with a solution for this issue would be beneficial. My only bit of solace was knowing that they close at 4:30 so I knew I couldn't be there forever. My appointment lasted under 10 minutes. I had another appointment and because I waited so long the first time, I wanted to arrive exactly at my appointment time. I misjudged the time and would be 10 minutes late. I called though to tell them and I was put on hold. They informed the doctor and he said we would have to reschedule! lol! The person on the phone was super friendly and apologetic but I think it's insane that I can wait so long for my appointment the first time which is "normal" but they couldn't take me 10 minutes late?!? It makes me feel as though they really don't care about me as a patient. At all. I'm in pain and my appointment was just for a steroid shot.
