I had to leave at 11 because I had another appointment that I was assured I would be able to get to at 11:30, so I just didn't get seen and wasted my whole morning sitting in the waiting room for nothing. I rescheduled for later in the day (around 1) and waited another hour to be seen. Left around 3, so I spent around 5 hours just trying to be seen for the appointment I scheduled weeks in advance. Everyone in the waiting room (who all had scheduled appointments) was still complaining about how they had been waiting for over an hour as well. One woman had been the first one there that morning and sat there for two hours watching everyone who arrived after her, go in front of her. I understand that many places are trying their best due to covid; however, considering the DOCTOR asked me to "take my mask down for a second so he could see who he was talking to" at my first appointment, I'd venture to guess that strict covid protocol is not the obstacle here. The doctor will often interrupt you as you describe your issue or not listen attentively because I often have to repeat myself throughout a conversation. He also randomly asked me if I know what somatic symptoms are, as in, basically symptoms that are in your head. How's that for validating? Yeah, I imagine my legs turning purple. When the ultrasound did, in fact, show I had an issue. He said that I needed to wear compression stockings for six weeks because insurance required that prior to procedure, to see if that would help. Okay, sure. But they didn't have my size stockings at the office and asked if I had time to drive an hour away to another location to pick some up. Nope, fresh out of extra hours today. Then, my insurance wasn't billed properly so I ended up spending another hour sorting that out later on anyway. Reasonably, I did not return to this practice for my follow up. But, they did continue to call me to schedule the "procedure" 6 weeks later. Don't you want to know if the compression stockings helped or get some kind of update before you go snipping away? Another patient shared with me that he told her she would be able to continue her regular aerobics classes after her procedure, but she found from another resource that this was absolutely not recommended. I gave the office the benefit of the doubt because I heard that this doctor was the best in the area, but this information doesn't make me feel confident in that. Lastly, the office is not good at maintaining patient confidentiality. Another woman, Ashley, mentioned another patient by name right in front of me when she came into my treatment room. Bottom line, don't schedule an appointment on a day that you have less than three hours to spare because you will have to wait. The reason I gave one star is simply because some of the young tech/front desk girls are very kind and helpful (I believe their names are Caitlin, Michaela, and Gabby). They seemed to be running the office by themselves and trying their very best to do several jobs at once with very little assistance. These girls are honestly the only redeeming qualities here and I already know that whatever they are being paid is not enough.

Pending information on current appt. Reached out to office about concerns and things and will…read moreupdate once I have some information

Not exactly a huge fan of this place and I believe anyone who plans on involving this care team…read moreshould see both sides of the coin before they flip it. everything seemed pretty routine for the first couple months, but then they all of a sudden needed me to be coming in alot more , no real changes in me , but in order to get my heart meds I needed to come in. I explained to them that since having a heart attack I've lost employment, lost my vehicle , and life is pretty tough ...along with no longer having a car seat because the last one was stolen off my front porch it makes it hard having a my child , who needs a car seat to ride, and i have her basically 24/7. So how am I supposed to swing this?nothing else was was said other than , well Mr. ( Omite my name for obvious reasons) We are going to need to see you in the office in order to refill your meds . All of my meds qualify for 90 day supply so why am I having to come here so frequently? So now I'm looking at my pharmacy app and these folks have stoper perscribing my Nitroglycerin High blood pressure meds Blood thinner Statins Now Im no doc...and far from a rocket scientist but I'm almost certain it's EXTRMEMELY dangerous to stop taking my high blood pressure med and blood thinner abruptly ..not advised. Yet there it it in black and white prescriber denied refill requests ( 3 times ) Sooo the medication I've been taking for over a year is now far too dangerous to prescribe ? I feel it's much more dangerous not to prescribe ...but I've not attended med school ...so that's not fair to say. But the meds I take are common everyday prescribed 1st line medications . Nothing exotic or needing to be monitored like warfrin or anything like that. Anyways I hear great things about this places and the doctor I see...but I guessi just got the short end of the stick on this one .
