Horrible experience with uncaring doctors. Didnt even run the tests to check for DVTs. Just blew my symptoms off completely because I was on blood thinners and had a filter, stating "what do you expect me to do for you?" As if thinners and filters are are perfect and I can't die from still clotting. Thr doctor was a self centered prickly with a crappy attitude, too lazy to do his job. I ended up having to go to direct care because the pain became unbearable. I had a large clot and it was determined the blood thinner i was on wasn't working. I do not recommend this place. So... since I posted this review a literal $hit storm has went down....... Unbeknownst to me my insurance company BCBS started investigating him. For what .... I don't know .... And no one will tell me anything.... I'v approached several "pro bono" attorneys and they won't touch it with a 10 ft pole. But .... All I can do is offer an update but I have to be careful how I word things. When BCBS started investigating him he dropped me as a patient, unfortunately he was in charge of my meds, wound pump, and home health care. Which all went out the window once the investigation started.and he almost cost me my leg again. "I think he is a psychopath" I hope BCBS forces him to sell his Benz and move into a cardboard box where he belongs. read more

RUN FROM THIS FACILITY! If I could rate Vascular Tyler -1,000,000 stars I would. I came to them because their website stated they were lymphedema specialists and I suspected lymphedema from potential lymph node and system damage from a prior plastic surgery. I was told that they could do an ultrasound to see what was going on. I do not have health insurance and trusted that Vascular Tyler would do the testing and give me the results and some kind of options. I got the ultrasound done and was in with Dr. Kerns for less than 5 minutes. I had the opportunity to ask him a few questions about the methods I was currently using to ease my fluid retention. He wasn't incredibly helpful with communicating if what I was doing was good or not. Some things he agreed were good, but most he stated that he was not sure. I was told to go see a plastic surgeon. The results from my ultrasound were not spoken about during my extremely short office time with Dr. Kerns. I was handed a piece of paper with an infographic and numbers on it by a nurse on my way out the door. I was very shocked, dismayed, and displeased to say the least. I did not feel Dr. Kerns cared about me or my condition at all. The transaction was extremely cold and sterile. The plastic surgeon I consulted with shortly after told me to go to a vascular surgeon. This going around in circles was frustrating, so I called in to express that and was told by Denise she would look into a refund for me. A week or so later, I still had not received a call, so I called back in. She said she was still working on it. Another week or so later went by with no call, I called back in and got the same answer. In the meantime, I start getting bills for my visit which I had paid in full at the time of my visit. I tried to call into the billing office several times leaving voicemails as no one ever picked up the phone. No one ever called me back - not one time - from the billing department. I kept getting bills. 4-6 weeks after my visit, I call back to talk to Denise and am told she's not with the company any longer. I made contact with at least 2-3 other people who said they'd look into my situation and give me a call back. None did. The most recent phone call I was told that the Office Administrator, Mike Watson would be calling me back. About a week went by and he did not. I called him and left a voicemail today. He called me back. The conversation did not go well. I did finally learn the results of my ultrasound through him, months later, which would be the only positive result of the call. This is ridiculous and something Dr. Kerns would be responsible for at time of visit. I asked for a refund as the level of care was very low, I was not given adequate information for the services provided, and was not given support considering the website claim of Vascular Tyler being lymphatic specialists with options for treatment. I was not given any options, just shown the door and told to go see someone else who wasn't able to help me and referred me right back to where I started with Vascular Tyler. As I was stating to Mike about the poor service, feeling robbed, and not cared for he told me he wouldn't be talked to like that and continuing to call would not get me the answers I was looking for and hung up the phone on me. This is NOT what I would consider compassionate, caring or professional. I just wanted my $490 back so that I could actually go somewhere that focused on my issues and provided legitimate answers so I could live a better quality of life. Vascular Tyler took my money and left me high and dry without one bit of feeling bad about it. AWFUL, Just awful. I was told by my Dr to go over there ASAP at 10:00 and i went and they were so disrespectful and aggressive towards me whenever i was calm and collected. Then after 15mins they said they can't get me in till 3:30, 5 HOURS!! are you kidding me whenever my dr said ASAP and told them that. that is BS! Also wanted me to do an office visit whenever I already did one at my dr office, All they want is that money!! read more

I'm sure the doctors are good at what they do, but communication with the office is beyond awful. I've never had a phone call answered without going first to voice mail; most of those aren't answered anyway. The only way to communicate is to send a message through their website - but the first two times I tried that, I never heard from anyone. My September follow up ultrasound was finally scheduled somewhere else almost 3 weeks ago and no one has bothered to follow up in any way to tell me what it showed. I sent a website message about it, got a follow up call (shock!) and scheduled a telehealth visit for a follow up, which never happened. No one called or emailed. This is NOT THAT HARD. read more

The facility is modern, clean and the office is beautiful. Dr. Robbins is great. I am not sure who hired the staff especially the front office staff, but if I ever treated patients in that manner I would be fired and I would NEVER be hired in the healthcare industry ever again, that is for sure. The way the women talked to patients checking them in and even treated and talked to a surgeon was shockingly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. The MA's were friendly. I understand that clinic can be tiring and really busy and it can sometimes be hard to keep a pleasant attitude for 8+ hours 5 days a week. I just don't believe the stress of the job should be taken out on the patients. Also, as a a safety concern, a gentleman noticed that a light fixture was falling and politely let someone know they needed to contact the appropriate person to get it fixed before it falls and shatters or seriously injures someone. They just snapped at him and told them they already contacted someone. ....for the record it's fixed with tape. LOL. Hallie Dr. Robbins RN was great she's very sweet. Also the anesthesiologist was great as well. Clinical staff was great administrative staff needs works. read more

These people's lack of communication and passion for their patients is terrible. My doctor tried to schedule surgery with these people and we couldn't even get a return call. Finally after two weeks my doctors office had to have someone physically drive to their office to get it scheduled. Then after the surgery their follow up was terrible. Getting someone to communicate with you is like pulling teeth.....it just want happen.. if you want an answer you just have to keep calling and pestering them. My advice.....choose someone else. read more
