When I arrived at the Villages location, the front desk staff were openly gossiping about patients in the waiting area--highly inappropriate and unprofessional. From the start, the staff appeared disorganized and unsure about how to schedule my procedure. I was not provided with any written instructions, directions, or preparation details. I had to follow up myself and eventually spoke with Angel, who kindly mailed the necessary instructions to me. Each visit, I was charged a $5.00 copay, which I paid. On the day of my procedure (two stents were placed), I paid as instructed. But 30 days later, I received a bill for $11,725.27. After contacting my insurance company, I was informed that the provider had submitted the claim incorrectly--billing it as a nearly $20,000 office visit. My insurer confirmed I should have only been billed $2,300.00. Thankfully, they reached out directly to the office's billing department to resolve the mistake. To make matters worse, on May 15, 2025, I received a call from Crystal, who told me that unless I paid $7,500.00, I would not be able to attend my upcoming appointment to receive my nuclear stress test results. Not only was this incredibly stressful, but it felt like they were holding my test results hostage over an unresolved billing error--which is both unethical and unprofessional. This entire experience has been frustrating, stressful, and disappointing. I urge this practice to review and overhaul its front office procedures, billing practices, and patient communication. Patients deserve better.

Jaimie Chamberlin PRN, did my leg oblation. Her customer service and medical skills were top-notch. I was really impressed. Dr. Aloul is great in so many ways. He ALWAYS tries to see the patients, even though the PRN has usually done everything needed. He is very responsive to listening and caring about people. In a personal instance, he even voluntarily donated money to help me with a charity book. The front office staff won't impress you. They could use a bit of professional dress, but they are impressive in that they are so diverse. Just know, that your treatment will be great with the Dr. and PRNs.
