I went for a weisse schoko-himbeer-schnecke - a white chocolate and raspberry filled enriched bread and... well, frankly it was life changing. One of the most delicious baked items I've ever eaten. I've hunted for the recipe online since returning to the UK but without success. Coffee was really good too and the service was pleasant. The weather was hot so they had big windows open at the front of the cafe, although quite a lot of sparrows had flown inside which were a bit of a nuisance. But the baked goods! You'd forgive anything to lay your hands on these. So good. Next time I'm in Berlin, this is my first stop.
