Last Winter we moved a Ford minivan from California to Morris, and asked Valu Ford to Winterize the…read morecar. We specifically asked that the battery be replaced. The service department decided everything was already in order as far as winterizing and did not change out the battery. They charged us nothing. When we went to use the car mid-winter, after keeping it in a heated garage, we found that it would not start and the battery would not take a charge. Come Spring we took the car in for a new battery. After replacing the battery they told me the car was good to go, but it never showed up in the lot. Turned out that when they went to move the car they found the power steering was not working. After waiting an hour or so, I got a ride home and left the car. Monday morning they called and said the car was ready to go. I picked up the car and did a few errands around town. By the time I went home the power steering was out again. I called the dealership and left a message indicating that the issue was NOT fixed. 24 hours later I still had not heard back. I called and forced the issue, indicating that this was a dangerous issue they had apparently created. They grudgingly offered to "have one of their techs look at it between other projects if they had time." I brought the car in and have heard nothing since. To my way of thinking this is very poor and very irresponsible service work. If a repair causes a new issue the techs should work on that issue until it is fixed. If an issue creates a dangerous intermittent hazard, such as loss of steering power, the vehicle should not leave the shop. Some day the liability created by this kind of haphazard service work will catch up with the dealership and destroy it financially, leaving a bad taste in everybody's mouth.

Hands down worst experience with a dealership I've had.I brought in my vehicle to fix a broken part…read morethat had been recalled. Its been almost 3 months now and not only has the part not been ordered but my vehicle has not even been pulled into the shop yet to be looked at. After multiple phone calls and visits to the shop all I've recieved from this business is the run around. If I could give a zero star review i would.
