Vegan Inc was bookmarked weeks before my trip to Mexico and I was excited to eat here. The yelp reviews don't lie, this is really delicious vegan food! Tucked away in the Southeast region of Monterrey, it has a splendid view of town that lights up gently in the evening. The interior is open and has a modern rustic look, with a lot of wooden details and plants throughout the restaurant. It was very difficult to choose what to eat, but this was my meal: Risotto de Temperado: This was SO GOOD. So creamy and very seasoned. It is topped with what looks like chunks of vegan cheese and squash blossoms. My favorite thing I ordered! Spicy Dragon Roll: I know I know, I ordered Sushi in Mexico. But this obviously isn't fish and after I saw another yelper's photo of their sushi roll, I really wanted one. This is a giant roll that can easily be a meal on its own. There are a plethora of veggies inside with avocado sauce drizzled all over the top. The sushi roll was actually pretty good but the ONLY reason I didn't love it is because there is a lot of celery on the roll. The finely chopped veggie that the roll is topped with is mostly celery and I HATE celery. Personally, I despise the texture and flavor, but to another person, they may enjoy the added crunch the celery adds to the roll. Green Tea Mojito: I expected fresh muddled mint, but there was none. It was overall too sweet for my taste and the green tea tasted artificial. I still enjoyed how refreshing it was, but would choose something else next time. Service is prompt and pleasant as there were only 3 tables in the restaurant. There was definitely a language barrier since he couldn't speak English, but we made it work. There also isn't an English menu, but it is easy to figure out what dish is what. To any vegetarians/vegans/gluten-free folks traveling to Monterrey, I highly recommend Vegan Inc! read more

The place is really small, but the food was so good, excellent portions, so rich in flavors, I didn't know vegan food could be so good, it was a pleasant surprise, the service was excellent, they were very friendly and accommodating!... Definitely coming back! read more

10/10 best vegan restaurant I've ever been too (and trust me, I've tried many) they have such a huge variety and all 4 times I've gone I've gotten something different and nothing has disappointed me. My maybe only super minor critique was that their chocolate chip cookie was a bit grainy/ dry, but everything else has been spot on. An absolutely incredible restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious and the portions were huge. I had a burger and fries in addition to the cheesy wedges (potato wedges smothered in a very good vegan cheese). My friends had the sashimi and fajita and loved both. We also had a chocolate dessert which was thick, chocolatey and very satisfying. Nothing tasted cheap, forced or unhealthy (as one might find in some lesser vegan places). This is not a junk food vegan spot, but also not a place too healthy or lacking in creativity to be flavorful. My only regret is that I did not go to Vegan Inc earlier in my trip as the menu is extensive and I have no doubt that everything there is amazing. This restaurant is on the same level as the most delicious restaurants in San Francisco and New York City. I've been vegan for 18 years now and it's been quite a long time since I've been so impressed by and pleased with a vegan restaurant. Really, this place is just great. read more

First time here. Tried the tacos and veggie burger. Burger is huge! Good flavor. Tacos were fine. Interesting preparation. I had a juice as well - good flavor and fresh. In conversation with the waitress (English speaker), she was knowledgeable about vegan dishes. Very friendly staff and lovely view. Would return for sure. read more

The wait was too long. There was only one other couple done eating and it took about 25 mins for our food to come out. When I asked about their pastries they said they didn't have any at the time until 3 hrs later. When I asked for a specific pastry they said they no longer offered it but would check if the other location did, however he never got back to me. Food was decent, but not at that price. read more

This is the most amazing vegan restaurant I've ever been to. The menu is extensive, with juices, smoothies, health shots, breakfast, lunch, small plates and large plates, and seriously amazing desserts. We enjoyed the trio hummus, guacamole, and beet tartar (a standout!!) for appetizers. We also tried a morning sunshine smoothie (tastes like a heavenly dreamcicle) and a Chlorophyll Me Up green juice, which we loved. We tried the portobello burger and inc black bean burger, but the portobello was the winner between the two, with an amazing nut-cheese spread and perfectly cooked mushrooms that made it a very special plate. We also split a spicy tuna roll between the table and were all impressed with the taste and presentation, as well how authentic the "tuna" was. I'm not sure what it was made of, but it was awesome. Oh, and of course we tried dessert. We shared a piece of gluten-free pistachio cake and a chocolate donut. Both were among the best desserts I've ever had. The quality of the food and the diversity of their menu have kept me coming back pretty much every meal of my visit to Monterrey! Bon provecho! read more
