I love college towns as there are usually decent food options at good prices. This is one of those places. The falafel is super fresh, there are numerous dressing types to tailor to your flavor choices, and frankly it's a lot more wrap than I expected for the price. The mango sauce has large chunks of mango in it - loved it. And I added a little of the spice sauce to give it a nice kick. This place was tremendously disappointing given the good falafel you can get in Germany and Europe not widely. Most items are vegan, which is great. I ordered the Obama falafel sandwich (€4.50), which came with curry ketchup, shitty iceberg lettuce, and the option of hot sauce. Would it kill them to put some fresh salads (tomatoes, peppers, etc.) in this? The pita was white - would like a whole wheat option. The falafel itself was decent but pretty standard. The portion was on the small side for the price. Hugely disappointing in almost every way, other than that most items are vegan; hence my 1-star review - what a lame sandwich. The prices are good and the staff friendly, but unfortunately the falafel sandwiches are 90% lettuce and sauce and only 10% substance. Plus they are impossible to eat - sauce EVERYWHERE, falafel rolling out, bread falling apart. The concept is good but the execution needs a lot more work. Solid vegan food. I like the rhubarb soda they sell here. I got the soup of the day (chickpea soup) and small platter with avocado which came with 3 (half) falafel balls, salad, 1 sauce and bread. The flavor of the dish was wonderful but I could not get myself to swallow that dry and stale bread. read more

Excellent falafel with tons of vegan options! The space is small, and it was packed with a line out the door when we went (always a good sign). We had our falafel as wraps and while they were a bit messy they were delicious. The fries we got were a bit on the soggy side, so I'd recommend avoiding those. This little place is easy to miss but worth taking a few extra minutes to look for. There are a variety of falafel versions to choose from whether you are looking for something vegan or not. They stay open until 11 on some nights which can be helpful when you go out drinking at the nearby bars. It is hard to find a place to sit at times because it is so small so don't be upset if you don't find a seat. The staff is always very kind here! read more

Consistently good. They've got lots of options to build the felafel pita of your dreams. It's a go-to spot if I'm near Rathaus and don't want a kebab. Particularly after a successful night of socializing. The pita when complete is a bit of a mess and they will load it up with salad, so be prepared for no taxi driver to let you in until you're done eating. I love this place! Super fresh and delicious! The falafel is made fresh for every order, the sauces are amazing, and the price can't be beat. My only complaint is they need one in Echterdingen! Good, tasty and large portions of falafel with sauces at a low price (4 euros), also worth trying is the special Teller (7.5 euros). Based on this I'd say 8/10. However, the place has a rather crummy look and my clothes and hair smelled strongly of oil after only 15 minutes inside. A quick painting job and installation of an extractor hood would greatly improve the place (tip!!). Schlossplatz was abso-fruitly delicious. The mango chutney was killer & the chili paste makes me lips tingle thinking about it. Good vibes, cool setup, and sweet beats. This place is delicious! Simple, cheap, open late, fresh ingredients- there's plenty to love. Ironically, their popularity is the only downside because it makes you have to wait in line. I have heard a lot of hype before actually trying out this place. Which I think was a bit of my fault, really, because my expectations were so high. But nevertheless, their menus are simple, easy and good indeed, and the prices are also reasonable. The owners are very friendly and also very efficient when it comes to serving. There can be a long line, but the line always seems to be moving, which means they are pretty fast in serving. The only thing would be that the quality can be sometimes different, which can be a problem if you happen to get a not that great batch. I would recommend if you want something different from the typical doner kebabs or Subway sandwiches. read more
