My bangain bartha had mushrooms in it, which was different. I've ordered this dish from several Indian restaurants in different countries and have never had them included. It wasn't bad in the dish, just different. My husband ordered the vegetable curry with chickpeas, which was again, bland. We ordered both the saffron rice and cashew/cranberry basmati rice. The saffron rice was dry but the cashew/cran rice was good. The highlight of the meal was the date chutney!! Sooo good we bought some in a jar to take home!! It has a smokey sweet taste, like a sweet pasty BBQ sauce!! Yuuummmm! We will definitely be back, as it is the only Indian restaurant in the area (that we know of) and for the CHUTNEY!! We are…read moreregulars here so we tried quite many dishes and settled on the following. -onion bhaji -spinach paneer -chicken tikka masala -saffron rice The other stuff we tried were the signature lamb dish, samosas, shrimp curry, and chicken balti. Not big fans. The staff are very polite and accomodating. Highly recommended!
