This attorney office is overpriced, unfair, and will pray on you if they think they can over charge…read moreyou. I went here with a very simple case and paid the retainer agreement. The office told me many times that due to the simplicity of my case I would get a refund and would in no way owe more than my retainer agreement. After the court date, I received a bill for two thousand dollars more. I found many discrepancies on the itemized bill (phone calls that were ten minutes that I was charged an hour for, hundreds charged just for my initial inquiry, all sorts of botched time and hours for things that I did myself). I tried to explain them rationally with proof and was basically told that I was a moron (sorry but how does a phone call on my cell phone that shows 10 minutes equate to an hour when on the bill?) I even tried to compromise. I figured I'd have little luck trying to dispute something with an office that disputes things for a living but thought they'd be honest and say "oh no that was an error, or that there was a billing mistake, or let's figure this out together"). Now that I have filed an official dispute, I learned that this was not the first complaint made against this office. Now I'll most likely have to go to court or mediation to fight against charges that were incurred due to court/mediation. Ironic. Don't go to them unless you feel like being charged thousands of dollars extra for phantom work to then just have to attend court again to dispute it.
