They made me feel comfortable going into the process like they had everything covered. I felt informed going into the procedure. They and everyone I talked to leading up said it would be easier with a donor because I could wait up to 6 years without one. So my best friend of 15 years stepped up and donated! She loved her coordinator and kept in touch a lot with questions. I only heard from mine about quarterly. I was told I needed to seek therapy for my anxiety and depression so I did, which was useful for me. Time for the transplant part. Surgery went well. After checking in we were brought back within 30 minutes. We were allowed to have 1 person with us to wait. Post op was worse for me than it was for my donor. I won't go into the complications I had with my stay in the hospital. They sent her out on a pain drip but I had to request 5mg every 6 hours? There was no communication between any of my care team throughout the recovery. My education went well but was hard to understand but they gave me plenty of reading material and things to try and make it easier. They gave me an excellent pill organizer large enough to hold all of my meds. I had never had a large procedure like this before that I had not been sent home on any anti anxiety medication to get me through at least 2 weeks post op. Especially with a the trauma I had endured throughout that time. My visits after we're long and inconvenient because of the wait time got longer and longer waiting for a Dr to come in for 5 minutes ask me how I was and then give me my next apt. I had to leave at least twice due to inconvenience with it and had to make first available apts. which they later told me would not be an option for me.

I'm able to get some supplements that I needed and guidance on what to start taking. that being said, I am going to talk about the office atmosphere and ladies that work there. Leah is very nice and thorough and was so helpful. I have not had an appointment with Dr. Roach. however, my family has. The last couple times I've been at the office, I have encountered a particular person and I'm unsure if she is the same person. I talked to her once in person and the second time it was on the phone. the first time I came in and wanted to ask about a couple supplements. I had recently had an appointment with Leah and had driven over to ask about a particular supplement that I was interested in . this lady pops up out of no where and stands there and tells me I can't do that. she is really snappy and adamant about not allowing me in any way to inquire over the supplements. I was very polite , but firm and asked if I could speak to the nutritionist. she stood there behind the receptionist and denied that as well. I was very surprised at this rule she seemed well set on applying to me. I made an appointment with Leah after speaking with her. she told me I was not allowed to look at the supplements. I was shocked at this treatment, because I had been a faithful client and was also bringing them business through friends and family. I had also went to the center in the past and bought supplements that I was interested in. the lady there at that time was very helpful and friendly. later at my appointment I spoke to Leah and informed her of the situation. she told me to come to her directly the next time that happened and speak to her. she also told me I was able to buy any supplement I was interested in. she was disappointed in the fact that I had experienced this and was sorry. why would midway employ such snotty workers? and why would they allow treatment of polite , respectful clients who had questions and was interested in giving this center business and not only that , but spreading business to family and friends!? recently I had another negative experience and I'm wondering if it was with this same lady. I called the office to make an appointment. after getting my card information over the phone, the secretary informed me that I had a deficit on my account. I was sincerely unaware of this and she was pushing me to pay with the card I just gave her. I wonder if that was manipulation? I absolutely wanted to pay my bill, but I needed to ask what it was for. since the receptionist couldn't give me further information she transferred me to the accountant. As soon as I spoke to this accountant lady she was snippy and short . she immediately acted as if I was wrong for inquiring over my bill. she informed me that it was my responsibility and acted as if I had been receiving notices and was avoiding it. I didn't argue, I only asked a couple questions. I then paid my bill. she seemed disappointed that I paid, as if she wanted to argue and was wanting me to argue over the bill. again, very poor attitudes from this office and I'm thinking it's the same lady . Dr Roach are you aware of this behavior? how it dissuades business and will eventually effect you? remember one bad apple will spoil the whole bunch.

From overcompensating for injured knee, I messed up my other hip. With each injury Barb Bauman immediately got me in and helped me with the injury, and MANY times I limped in to PT and and walked very quickly out with no pain or limp. I have been to MANY physical therapists for my husband over the years, as well as myself, but Barb Bauman is the only one who actually helped me with my injuries with very few follow-up visits and the only one I felt I could trust to help me recuperate quickly without unnecessary visits. I heard from the other patients in the waiting room that this was typical behavior for this office. There were about ten other people waiting. Dr. Kincaid and her office should treat patient's with respect and be respectful of people's time. If the doctor wants to spend more time with patients, she should spread the appointment times out more. Making us wait that long for a morning appointment is just rude. I can't imagine how long the afternoon patients must wait. In addition, the office smelled very strongly of Glade Plug Ins which is hard on some people's lungs. Overall, a terrible experience. I highly recommend going to any other podiatrist.

I am a better person because of the work that I've done with her. I am there for adult therapy, but I know that the therapists also do a lot of work with children and adolescents. The office space is quite small (especially compared to previous locations), but the space that they have is well utilized and I never feel uncomfortable. I highly recommend this practice!
