Went with the hubby and my 3 year old kid...it took me back to my childhood and the innocent joys of circus...it's a small, extremely hard working troupe of 8 performers who also do all the set up for the stage, the circus tent, chairs, guest entry and so on. They are very talented with a range of performers across acrobats, dancers, jugglers, singers (the ringmaster has a great voice and energy)...my 3 year old was transfixed by the beautiful acrobat performing on the ropes to titanium sia! The snacks are freshly made so slightly more expensive than what you would get at a store ..but totally worth it...loved the lemonade and the popcorn (the tent was filled with it's aroma)....grab your friends, family, babies and just go for it! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Venardo's Circus when they visited Tempe. I found out about it by chance and we decided to take our daughter there for her first birthday. Both her and our four year old son absolutely loved it! They were fascinated from the start of the show to the finish. Our favorite parts were definitely the first half, all the acts had us oohing and awing at some great feats! It was a nice, small, and friendly circus that I cannot recommend enough. We will definitely be going back if they return next year! A quick tip: go during the week and it wasn't busy at all. read more

We attended to their show in Scottsdale , I bought a Groupon for my family and it required to be 30 minutes before the show time. I thought it made sense, BUT when we arrived the place was already packed! And we had to sit down on the last line close to the pole where no one wants to sit. My recommendation is get there maybe 1 hour ahead. Also paying a ticket for kids more than 1 year old is required. But I also found many kids even 8/9 years old had to climb on the lap of parents to see the show. So be prepared. The show is nice, my favorite performers were the couple from Cuba. They have just one line to buy popcorn/water/soda/nachos and it gets looong. Get some stuff to save your spot while going to buy something. They really need to improve their organization. read more

There's a preshow to keep the kids occupied (get there a little early, it's general admission seating) and then free photos with the cast afterward. This really is the "Little Circus that Could". Every act is fun to watch and world class. I expected to have a good time watching a small circus troupe do some standard acts. What I got was singing and dancing and fresh takes on the classics. Very well done show that's not just "kid friendly" - it really is something everyone in the family can love.
