I really wanted to like this place. The restaurant sits near the end of "Broadway" (Rua Dragão do Mar) and what caught my attention was that the interior is very attractive and tastefully decorated; also they had the most lovely music playing. The service was ok, but the problem was the food. We started with an order of bruschetta and after waiting a while, I smelled burning bread. After a bit more time, we were served not bruschetta but some chopped oily salami on top of flatbreads topped with even more olive oil. It was inedible. After this, we canceled our main course.
The ladies' room did not work, so my wife was told to use the men's room, and the floor was covered in urine and toilet paper.
While they have a wine list, they don't have any of the wines on the list. Do yourself a favor, and if you must come here, just have a beer and eat somewhere else. read more
