I have to share this because it genuinely made me laugh…read more I walked in and casually asked if there were any sales going on. They said no, which is totally fine. It's Abbot Kinney, not an outlet mall. I wasn't expecting discounts. I still wandered toward the back to browse, and another woman was doing the exact same thing, so clearly I'm not the only one who checks. Then I overheard one of the sales guys say to another employee, within earshot, "Why would we have any sales?" followed by laughter. And I thought... wow. Okay. That's not great salesmanship. It came off dismissive and inconsiderate. Talking about a customer like that while they're still in the store just isn't a good look. Maybe he was having a bad day. Who knows. But let's just say it like it is, that was totally uncool.
