TLDR: Great service, perfect for beginners and people concerned with quality and healthy (as possible) juice. 100% would recommend to anyone that vapes. I have been using Vuse pods and was not only sick of the price of pods but also they are starting to hurt the roof of my mouth even though I switched to a new device. I had my fiancee look up a local vape shop as she's a great researcher on these things and once again, she didn't let me down! Ample parking, not hard to find if you're used to LA. We went in and no customers but by the time we left, 2 regulars were in there. I explained to Brandon that I was switching from views pod and didn't really know anything about vapes so I wanted to come in person for help on any extra pieces or anything I might need and also any recommendations. He recommended this Drop 2 which I will provide photos of. It did not look satisfactory to me, I kind of pushed back, because I was expecting to get one of those huge looking brick vapes with all the different coils and all of that. I was concerned of not getting enough nicotine and not a big enough hit, but he assured me that this would be great. even though I was using 5% nicotine with the views he said because they make their own juice and it is so pure of only nicotine vegetable oil and glycerin that I would get a much better hit off of this and maybe even more nicotine, which is not wrong, I do feel it. I am glad I finally gave in and listen to him as that is the reason I did go in the first place was for an experts recommendation. I thought that the shape might be kind of strange for me to get used to but it's definitely easier to hold than the views, it just fits in the hand so nicely and it can still be discreet but if people do see it, it looks cool at the same time. The top part comes off and that is where the juice goes in and then I think he said about once a month the tops have to be replaced and he gave us a top for free on the house, the whole thing was around 45 bucks including the juice which was crazy amazing pricing I did not expect it to be that low at all, I thought I would leave there spending at least 150 bucks, but it made me feel even better about them and they're honesty. Now I don't even want to go online to get parts, I want to go out of my way to go there in person and purchased their juice and their refills directly from them as it was such a pleasant and nice experience. He was also so patient with us and our questions, I really can't say enough good things about this place. Definitely a great place for people that don't know much about vapes and people that are concerned about what they are putting into their body because I know that has always been one of my biggest things is that I wonder where the different juice has come from and how dangerous they are But knowing that they make theirs, put my mind at ease. Also, even though I have tobacco flavor on this one, and the views pod, my fiancé said that this one has a pleasant smell, and that the other one she did not like the smell of so I guess that's good as well if you have someone around you, that doesn't vape but you do. He also offered us half of the counter space upfront to fill it so we could get used to it with him right there which I'm glad I did that because I did not know what I was doing. Lol but it was super easy and I felt extremely confident leaving there that I knew everything I needed to. He had also basically explained to me that the device that I have is more like a 2024 device and those Ones that I had came in looking for are more like 2018 technology so that also put my mind at ease and that does make sense as well as this is definitely easier to deal with than one of those as I had one many years ago, but have no memory of how to put them back together and things anymore. So yes, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that vapes whether it is a beginner as I had mentioned because they are just so super friendly but also they have a great selection and their homemade juices so I feel that it is great for the connoisseur as well. I approached the store and asked the one person, let's call him "broom boy" for now, anyway, I put on my second mask and broom boy saunters over to his register, displaying his clear lack of desire for helping a customer and simultaneous separation anxiety from his beloved broom by standing there, maskless, in the empty store. I asked broom boy, "I'm not gonna have to ask, am I?" What ensued was broom boy pretending to not know about covid, or masks. I left. And he told me not to come back, which I think was a bit presumptive. I was in the area and ran out of juice and I came out and pulled out the handy dandy yelp which led me here. The place is nice inside with a nice chill atmosphere. The guy who helped me which I forgot his name but he had glasses, a beard and gauges, welcomed me and was pretty helpful. The shop does make its own flavors and allot too. What I like about this shop is the variety and the option to try the juice before purchase which I notice allot of shops stop doing. Though I paid 17.00 for a 30ml when I'm used to getting candy kings 90ml for that size, I had to get it (watermelon infusion). It was worth it and in my opinion a good all day vape. When I call back they still don't have it. Last week on Friday I gave my cell phone number to the employee to give to the owner or manager to call me back informing me of when they would have them...they said they will be sure to call me back during the weekend to let me know. In my opinion, by far the best vape shop on the Westside. In terms of the staff, there is zero pretentiousness here. The staff is helpful and extremely beginner-level friendly. While other shops are too busy bullshitting with their friends instead of helping you, trying to be the 'cool vape guy' or talking down to you like you're an idiot (Fix and Vapor Delight, I'm looking at you), VVL is super friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. You feel like you're a regular, even if you're not. They have an amazing selection of premium e-liquids, without the whole 'we're not gonna let you know how old our juice is, by dispensing it into a generic bottle' crap that Vapor Delight offers. In regard to the space, It's a super cool hole-in-the wall environment with a 1920s speakeasy vibe. It's a comfortable place and is easy to hang out in. Highly recommended. Possibly the worst Vape shop I've ever been to. It started with him blaming his said partner for not having the proper stock. Then he tried to tell me I shouldn't be the Vape brand I wanted because he was trying to up sell me. Then when I purchased the vape I did want he didn't have Replacment pods. When I walked out the person I was with said it seemed like we were bothering him and I just thought no he's probably just miserable with his job. If he is a partner I feel bad for the other partner or partners because he just ruined at least 4-700 a month in buisness for that company. First rule of buisness is your customers are your income source so be nice to them even if your having a bad day. Second rule of buisness don't be so obvious that you don't want to be there because you make people not want to come back. I personally will never go in there again and I will never refer anyone to them for that matter. Also check after buying the vape I did. I found out they charged me 20 dollars more than the vape cost anywhere else. The place is a joke and I feel bad for the real owner or partner. read more

This place is totally adorable. In a good way. I stumbled upon the the Venice Vapor lab on Yelp when I was looking for the the closest place to my place to pick up some supplies for building my mod. Venice Vapor Lab is one of a handful of vape shops on the west end that offers a typical array of ecigs, accessories and juices. In terms of units, I didn't look too thoroughly but it appeared that there was actually a lot of reasonably priced mods ( some clones) and the typical selection of egos and starters. I am not The selection of juices wasn't as good as some other shops I've been to What sets Venice Vapor Lab apart form the other shops on the west side is the service. I recieved top notch service from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. Given that I only bought wire, I wasn't exactly big purchaser but this didn't change a thing. JT helped me with a new build for RBA and spent quite a bit of time explaining how he did the build and suggesting new tips. Unlike a lot of the stores I've come into, I got the build for free and it was done amazingly well and I love it. The other employee in the store also seemed to be very friendly from my observations of his interactions with other inquisitive customers. Also, the atmosphere is great. The store is wonderfully decorated and so far the coolest shop I've been into. The store appears to be in it's infancy and has some room to grow with their juice selections but I have high hopes for this place. read more

I'm a changed person since moving to Venice, CA. Words like "awesome", "stoked", "dude", and "bummer" are now a part of my vernacular. I've also become more health conscious. Things that a proud New Yorker would never do like get a reiki bikini wax, spend $60 at a farmers market, or switch from cigarettes to e cigs are just a few examples of my granolaification. Now onto Venice Vapor Lab. The dudes were really friendly and didn't have any pushy sales tactics. I appreciated them answering my bazillion questions succinctly. I purchased a Kanger Tech EVOD tank. The stem is a Joytech Ego C Twist, which was recommended to me by a friend because it's got an adjustable voltage thingy (that's what controls the amount of vapor). I tried a bunch of different juices at the bar and ultimately purchased Blueprint Page 6 12mg - it tastes awesome not too fruity tuity. I'm looking forward to picking up some of their organic juice soon too. I recommend purchasing a lanyard as losing your vape is a total bummer. It might look silly to wear it around your neck at a dance party or function but it beats wasting money. The owners girlfriend will be making cute jewelry necklaces which I'm stoked to buy once they're in. So there you have it, while these vapor labs are a dime a dozen out here why fuck w/ the rest when you can have the best? This is a great place... if your White or African-American. I've been to this place a couple of times and every time I've gone I have expected to have a better experience than the previous one, which is NOT the case. It's funny, these guys act like they have never seen a Hispanic person in their life. The drill every time I have gone: Walk up to the door, see everyone having a great time, open the door, everyone get's quiet. Counter clears out, vape-tender looks at me like if I have no clue what I'm talking about. The only reason I have kept going is because of their e-juice selection, which is not bad, hence the 2 stars. I've sent a couple of my friends down there thinking maybe it's just me, but they have told me the exact same thing has happened to them. It's a shame. There selection of mods and devices are ALWAYS up to date and filled with the best and most illusive stuff. There juice selection is of the utmost amazing, high end, "boutique" level quality, no "bathroom tub juice" or "we mix our own colored cancer elixirs" only top tier joose. Sure something's may cost a dollar or two more but who cares when u are getting millions of dollars worth of respect and great attitudes as well as executive level knowledge and the best products vapers can buy. These guys are amazing and know their shit. They're very patient, and I love that because I'm really indecisive. They also never laughed or made fun of me for smoking 0 level vape!
