It is because of Adam, that, my doctors are actually starting to see the labs they ordered while I'm still sick.

I also downloaded the app. If you are looking for an early morning appointment you might not be able to get in for about 2 weeks out as early morning times are popular for fasting bloodwork and for hours before work. The app sent me a reminder about my appointment the day before. When you enter this lab, there is a kiosk for you to check-in. You will need to have your driver's license out and ready because you scan your driver's license. My doctor's office had sent my bloodwork order to Quest 2 weeks ago when I made my appointment but when I saw my Doctor last week, she said it would be a good idea to bring a paper copy of the order with me just in case. She made a good call as Quest did not have my order in the system. Not sure whom was at fault for that but I HIGHLY, highly recommend you have your paper copy of your order with you. I checked in, sat down for not even 2 minutes before I was called back. The technician took my paper copy and entered the information and did my lab work. It was painless, quick, she was gentle and professional.

When she finally came in she came off as extremely arrogant, I asked her questions about certain health exams being done based on family history and instead of educating me on potential health issues she belittled me and looked at me as if I was not competent. I definitely do not recommend anyone being seen by this person.

When i checked in, i had to say out loud(infront of other patients)why i was here. How do you not have that on file from when i booked the appointment?? Where is the privacy?! I was called, they verified my info and weighed me (they forgot to measure my height so they called me afterwards). I was put in an exam room and told the doctor would be in shortly. I waited OVER AN HOUR IN THE EXAM ROOM!!!! 40 min into waiting I asked why the long wait, and was told "oh didn't anyone tell you? Doctor Johnston took a late lunch". At this point, the educator Evelyn spoke to me twice. When the doctor finally came in, she didn't apologize- nor did she have any idea why I was there!! All she did was tell me I couldn't get the shot today. The second time I came here: I came here for the actual shot. Checked in, turns out they have the wrong phone number on file. Great. Got called, and the educator took me to the back to sign a document that she was supposed to have me sign last time. Then i was put into an exam room for 45 minutes. Why?????? I got up and asked the educator how much longer it would be, and that I didn't want to wait an hour like last time. Who suddenly appears? Doctor Johnston. Did she give me the shot? NOPE! All she did was try to talk me out of the shot, I declined, so then she asked "would you like to talk to our educator for more information?"- WHY??? I'm convinced the educator's purpose here is to give old crinkled pamphlets to you to waste time and make you feel addressed while the doctor wastes time! Did the doctor apologize for being late again? Of course not. She was with me for probably 30 seconds. 5 min later a nurse came in to give me the shot, and leads with "what's your name again?". The nurses, front desk , and educator are nice enough, but boy does this location love to waste time. I get that appointments don't happen the same minute it's booked for, but to wait an hour for a 2 minute interaction is INSANE! 0 apology. 0 "thank you for waiting". This location seems very unorganized and doesn't have a productive workflow. If I didn't complain both times, who knows how long I would've been waiting?? They probably would've forgotten that i was there! Never going to doctor Johnston or this location again.

"Multiple Layers" of Deception and Unprofessionalism…read more.. In my correspondence with Gene K., a representative of Scope Environmental (cut and pasted from Yelp chat room) mentions "We can definitely help. Our asbestos inspection, survey, and lab results pricing is very competitive. It's $625 for the inspection and report. Each sample is $35. No other fees. Generally, results and reports will be available within 24-48 hours". Gene K. also mentioned the following "Some samples have multiple layers, and that can not be determined prior to taking the physical sample. You are welcome to call in so that you can properly comprehend the procedures". However, UNDISCLOSED FEES can creep into the price charged to the customer, e.g. such as the need to test "multiple layers" of one material; so, "No other fees" is (deliberately) misleading and therefore, deceptive. A field inspector (Daisy Flamenco) of Scope Environmental, arrived at the project site and upon seeing the area that needed sampling, asked the homeowner for a ladder to get her modest stature to the sampling material areas. When sampling the ceiling, Ms. Flamenco was barely able to reach the sampling surface (needed to be on her tippy toes), even with a step ladder (provided by the homeowner). ALL sample takers must come fully prepared for all conditions at the work site and not rely on the homeowner to provide tools, equipment or assistance of any kind to do THEIR job! Ms. Flamenco was dressed casually, no respirator or other appropriate protective equipment or gear, which is not only hazardous to herself, but sends the message to the homeowner (overseeing the work), that asbestos is really not that harmful. Even two and a half years following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is appropriate if all workers who enter a home, to wear a mask or at least offer to wear one, but Ms. Flamenco failed to show the occupants of the residence, such consideration. Most (professional) people return to bad pre-pandemic habits, even if to protect the home's occupants from the common cold. What is really inconsiderate and unprofessional, is that Ms. Flamenco had disturbed suspected asbestos containing materials by scraping and cutting away material from parts of a furnace and its ducts, leaving the furnace and ducts out-of-order, i.e. if no asbestos or other harmful materials were found, the furnace and ducts could not be safely and effectively used without first repairing them. Leaving carcinogenic materials exposed (cutting, scraping or otherwise removing and exposing asbestos) to those who live at the work site, is hazardous and unprofessional and should never be done this way. Exposing harmful materials puts people and animals at risk of exposure to carcinogens and asbestosis causing particles! Asbestos sample takers should take measures to seal or otherwise cover, exposed asbestos containing materials (when they are through sampling them), to protect home occupants. This experience was a wake-up call to how incompetent workers can make a bad situation, worse!
