We also tried their fried seafood including the cazon en adobo which was delicious and the ortiguillas ('sea nettle'), which is some sort of shell creature that had an interesting texture. The shrimp tortillitas were also good. We had the Vietnamese rolls with deep fried mussels. This was so good we debated getting another one. Day 1 also included their special of the day, a beef taco that was excellent again. Day 2 we had the croquette, and the fried cod with artichoke flower. Light and not heavy. Just the right amount of batter. Then we had the ribs, eat them as a lettuce wrap taco. It was incredibly busy so we opted to stand at the bar. We ordered tinto de verano and began to look through the menu. The menu includes photographs of all of the tapas and they absolutely fairly priced. We ordered three tapas each and were delighted when they arrived. This bar definitely puts the art in food. The presentation is equidisite and the taste is delicious. Our tapas were piping hot and we couldn't help but admire them before devouring them. However, I did spy some local old men trying to enjoy their lunch, as well and they were all drinking a beer and eatin' paella. The to-go side was PACKED, so we snagged a spot at the bar on the other side and quickly ordered up 4 beers, a tapa size of the paella and a fried fish platter for 2. The paella was delicious and the fried fish platter was huge, with chunks of fried fish, whole fish, calamares, cod croquettes and more. I'm not the most adventurous fish eater, and I went for it. Not fancy at all, but just super fresh seafood, breaded and deep fried. Not a ton of flavor in the breading, but all good. All that food for about $20 USD. Not too shabby.
