We tried several different kinds of fish, they were grilled and served with either potatoes or salad. We also tried their fried seafood including the cazon en adobo which was delicious and the ortiguillas ('sea nettle'), which is some sort of shell creature that had an interesting texture. The shrimp tortillitas were also good. On our last night there we decided to also try something other than seafood and had the rabo de toro which was really good, with super tender, fall-off-the-bone meat.

Day 2 we had the croquette, and the fried cod with artichoke flower. Light and not heavy. Just the right amount of batter. Then we had the ribs, eat them as a lettuce wrap taco. The meat fell off the bones and the flavor was a sticky Asian bbq. We sat outside at the square both days at mid day and enjoyed watching locals sitting for their lunch and heading home for their siesta.

It was incredibly busy so we opted to stand at the bar. We ordered tinto de verano and began to look through the menu. The menu includes photographs of all of the tapas and they absolutely fairly priced. We ordered three tapas each and were delighted when they arrived. This bar definitely puts the art in food. The presentation is equidisite and the taste is delicious. Our tapas were piping hot and we couldn't help but admire them before devouring them. We were so satisfied with our visit we decided to visit again the next night. The service was pleasant and the food delicious once again. The best in Cadiz, do not miss this place! The paella was delicious and the fried fish platter was huge, with chunks of fried fish, whole fish, calamares, cod croquettes and more. I'm not the most adventurous fish eater, and I went for it.
