Plus I had to pay for one months rent for the deposit. $500 For one cat. This is absurdly high. I was also required to purchase renters insurance but they didn't tell me that until the day before I filled out the application for the apartment. Also, no one told me I had to make out checks to Lenox Properties, which is a part of Metro Properties. When I turned in my application, I made the check out to metro properties and was told that they would not be able to hold the apartment until a correct check was written. Other cons. The apartment is SO COLD in the winter. I have a space heater which I'm not supposed to have but the one time I called to ask about the heat I was basically told to suck it up, so I did by acquiring a space heater. The hot water is also awful. The shower goes from a good temperature to FREEZING COLD in a matter of seconds. The pressure varies too. I am assuming this depends on how many people are using the water/ hot water in the apartment at the same time. Sometimes I have to run the water at the kitchen sink for 5 straight minutes waiting for hot water. If I did have to pay for water I would be furious because of how long I have to wait because the water pressure and heat can't keep up with the demands of the building. The apartment was DIRTY when I moved in. I asked for some rent to be taken off due to me cleaning and they told me no. I have never rented from people who were so inept at keeping their renters happy.

A lot of new resident. She told us it was in her calendar. But nothing. Now denying she said it . Nothing schedule. She's been working on it since feb she did. She informed us there's no regulation that she has to do this . If u have a vulnerable relative and move here id suggest to always meet her with a relative or advocate. Senior nurse . I've been a state inspector and worked un long term care. Our manager now doesn't seems grasp the needs of the elderly and that's why multiple safety issues. I called Kading back and they said that they don't pay for the mailboxes and that it is up to me. Since Kading didn't have the keys to the mailbox, the post office clerk said that I had to pay $40 for keys to the mailbox... Moving out charges did not seem fair: They deducted money from my deposit that are normal wear and tear.

I really wish it were a way to let people know the exact community with this review but know that I am glad to let the management company and Yelp know if the so desire. My community is in Georgia. I was visiting a friend here and I loved the feel of the community from the long drive up to the gated entrance to the inside feel of the community. It made me look online and see all of the great amenities and floor plans and I was hooked from there. Once I called and connected with Tiffani L. In the leasing office, My mind was made up that I wanted to make this location my next home. Tiffani made my application process comfortable. She was patient, kind, cheerful, professional & relatable. I look forward to having her as a part of the managment team over the community I will now call home. The community itself is so dope because it is walkable to restaurants, shops and other communities and it is in a town where you would not expect that. That makes it feel so much more like home to me. Having to drive everywhere is ok and kind of what Georgia life is like but being able to safely walk to the store or to get coffee or go shopping is so boho chic for me. Best of both worlds. I wish I could post pics but that would totally give away my location. Just know the outdoor and indoor amenities are top notch. They appear serious about covid safety standards. I will circle back about the service once I move in but Tiffani L & her team made my onboarding to date very pleasant. Her air conditioning broke over two weeks ago and still no one has showed up to fix it. The office staff is more than uncaring and ignorant. I would call them in Iowa but they do not list a phone number. Makes you wonder doesn't it. I would never recommend anyone to rent any property these people own.

Trying to converse with them is like pulling teeth. our monthly HOA fee is nearly $200 and they hardly do any work on the property. Parking lot floods, they use crow tow and will tow anyone (regardless of how short they are parked there), will not be kind in any communications, and do not treat their home owning residents with any respect. I would rather have no property management company and instead just pay substantially less for snow removal and mowing of the property. There is nothing this company does for the property that would warrant a $200 monthly fee.
