But this is the right way to do it, esp with these frequently rented vehicles that can easily sustain minor damages if handled carelessly. The dude at the dock is also very helpful in helping you ride away from and approach the dock, the latter of which can be a little tricky. Other jetski rental services in the area have been far less clear and professional in my experience. And why deal with the choppy waves and high traffic of the Coronado area. Mission Bay's where it's at yo! And that makes this the go-to for some of the best jetskiing you can experience in SD and I'd say SoCal in general. Was told "no refunds, but you can use it as credit." Went in person to see what alternatives they had. They suggested using the credit toward a different activity, but only during their off-season in 3 months--and I'd still need to pay full price on top of the credit. In their busy season right now, the credit is essentially worthless. This feels intentional. They keep the money from the duplicate rental, trap the credit behind their busy season, and force me to either eat the loss or wait months for a partial remedy that still costs me. No acknowledgment of the inconvenience or willingness to work with a customer who caught their own mistake immediately and asked nicely. If you rent from them, expect inflexible refund policies and credit terms designed to benefit them, not you. I won't be going back.

When we first arrived, most of us needed to use the restroom (since there isn't one on the boat), and the girl working at check-in seemed a bit annoyed by that. However, once we got on the boat, she was totally fine and helpful. A few things to note: someone in your group does have to drive the boat, so plan ahead for that. You can bring your own 21+ drinks as long as they're not in glass containers, and you'll need to bring your own ice. Once you're out on the water, it's pretty lively with lots of other boats and people. We played our own music and just hung out--it was a really fun, chill experience. The two hours definitely go by fast, so keep an eye on the time. They're strict about going over, even by a minute, so we set a timer and started heading back 30 minutes before our end time. Overall, a fun and unique experience we'd recommend!

I was especially looking forward to this because it was my wife's birthday present and we arranged for daycare for our 5 month old so we could go together. They were prompt and responsive on the phone when I made the booking. I received confirmation via text and email. On the day of the tour, I texted with the guide to confirm the time and location. The guide responded and everything seemed in order. However, when we arrived at the meeting spot in Mission Bay I got a text saying they were delayed 15-30 minutes for a coast guard inspection. I responded and said that was fine and that we would wait. However, they never came, never responded further and just left us waiting at the launch ramp for 45 minutes before we finally gave up and left. I've called and texted and they don't respond at all. I'm writing this review 3 hours after the tour was supposed to start and still nothing. Really unbelievable.
