We had chickpea soup that tasted like heaven. Fresh bread, handmade pasta with black truffle and some great Brunello to wash it down. It was filled with locals who were all festive and enjoying life. The slow-cooked pheasant breast on a crispy pastry with poppy seeds, onion, blueberry juice and fresh truffle shavings was not only creative but delicious! Then tagliolini pasta with almond powder and, yes, fresh white truffles shaved before us and scattered over the dish was also a knock-out.
