I had them fix two pairs of pants that had holes in them and they did a phenomenal job for a very reasonable price, within a few days. I will definitely bring all my tailoring needs back here. read more

Which is ideal for someone like me who has no time to sew and has saved me much in time and money. A small outlay has resulted in saving my favorite garments from being disposed of, and making them last twice as long. Use this service if you are time poor and want to save. This was my first…read moreexperience with made-to-measure clothing, and I was very impressed by the quality of the service. Herman is a pleasure to deal with, his expertise and attention to detail are outstanding, he listens carefully to his customers and guides them through the myriad of choices of fabric and styles, all the way down to the most subtle detail, such as ensuring that the left cuff of a shirt is slightly larger so as to accommodate a watch. Following the commissioning of the garment, Herman kept me informed of the progress throughout the process, and I was amazed at how quickly my garment were made. When I went in for the fitting, I was delighted to see how well-made the suit and the shirt were, and how nice they looked. I would unreservedly recommend Herman Bros & Co. for any tailoring needs.
By far the best value suit I own now comes from Herman Bros and Co…read more Herman is a very knowledgeable guy and does not rush you through your first fitting. Herman talks you through the dozens of options at each stage of the process, including jacket and trouser style, lapel width, lining, buttons, etc. My first suit from Herman Bros came back in about six weeks and the fit was spot on first go. Herman's prices are incredible value when you consider an off the rack suit with alterations would have cost about the same. I'll be returning in a few months to fill out the remainder of my wardrobe and couldn't be more pleased.

In the last six weeks or so I've brought two dresses to be altered here. Both were brand new, one…read morewas a polyester faux-linen party dress from Target that required shorter straps; that service cost about $30 and was done in under a week, with excellent results. The other was a poly blend sheath dress for work, which was only available two sizes too large, but was such a pretty color and so cheap that I bought it in hopes of having it tailored to fit. Unfortunately, the $50 tailoring job did not leave me with a dress I would actually wear--it's still too big in some places, and now, too small in others. I will end up donating that dress, having learned some lessons about buying things in my own size. Customer service here is pretty good, if not outstanding. I've heard the woman who runs the business argue over prices, which are somewhat high, but she's also renting a retail space in Broadway, so you're paying for convenience. I would feel comfortable returning, but I would probably consider other businesses offering the same service first.

I've been bringing all my business shirts and suits to this laundry for the past two years and I can highly recommend this place. It might looks a bit run down from the outside but the service you receive won't disappoint. Give it a try. Thumbs up from me

I've passed this tailor before at the mall though never really gave it much thought. Until today....Just bought a pair of slacks and walking back towards the lift and saw this little teeny place. Since I needed to go to Coles for groceries anyway I thought 'Why not?' Vanee was very friendly and helpful. They are called 'Express' because their sign says they will have your work done in an hour. And my slacks were ready in an hour! Vanee asked if I'd like to try them on but now, of course, I needed to get my groceries home so...no, I did not try them on. I'll follow up if there's a problem but so far, so good. Friendly. Competitive prices. 1 hour. How good is that???
