I hired Darrius to assemble some gazebos. He showed up late. I wrote him a check fir his service…read more He returned the next day stating his mobile deposit did not clear because the date appeared altered. I issued him a replacement check after I retrieved the original check from him. A few days later I realized both checks cleared my account. I contacted Darrius immediately, he stated he would contact his bank and look into it. After that, he has refused to respond to my attempts to get him to return the additional (double) payment he recieved. Darrius is a check scammer, a liar, and a thief. Don't trust him.
