A week later they both had no improvement. Took them back; they told me my older daughter had croup and an ear infection, but the younger was viral. Nothing to be done for the younger one. Gave the older one Medicine. Week three the younger one had still no improvement; took her back.. again. They tried to tell me it was still viral! And now the older was getting sick again but she had an upper respiratory infection. Again treated the older. Said there was nothing to be done for younger. AFTER A MONTH... that's right. A MOnNTH. I finally was fed up and took my youngest to a new doctor and found out she had RSV, Bronchitis and an ear infection. All because seashore refused to do anything for her for a MONTH WE WILL NOT BE BACK AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND Seashore. EVER!

Judging from the website, their practice most closely resembles the one we left in CA (which we LOVED). I called to inquire about making a new patient appointment and the nurse flatly said I can't make an appointment without records from my previous pediatrician being sent to their office first. No biggie, I emailed the old office and they promptly sent over the records. I called 10 business days later to schedule the appointment and was told they don't have the records yet. Weird. I called back twice a week for a month to check. No records. Finally I emailed over my kids immunization records explaining my baby needs to be vaccinated. The nurse emailed back confirming the vaccination records but stated I can't schedule an appointment without the full medical record. I emailed a week later asking if they've received the records yet. She then calls me and says I can't schedule an appointment b/c my kids are behind on thier immunizations and that I should take them to the Health Department to get caught up. After that, I can come into the office for a well visit. So now, after six weeks, I've decided to go elsewhere.

We were told such wonderful things about Dr. Traynham and knew we didn't need to consider anyone else. Through some miscommunication, we were told he was not accepting new patients. With weeks before my son's arrival, we had to scramble to find another pediatrician at another office in town. Once our pediatrician retired, we circled back to Neighbors Pediatrics to see if Dr. Traynham was accepting new patients this time around. The staff is friendly and does such a great job at breaking the ice with the babies and children before they even walk back to the exam room. I do like that the office is divided into two areas with well visits isolated to one side and sick visits isolated to the opposite side of the office. Dr. Traynham is exactly what you would expect from a pediatrician - professional (with the parents), lighthearted and friendly (with the babies and children), has a ton of medical knowledge, and of course, very patient. He will answer any questions you may have for him regarding your child, and you will not feel like you are being rushed or pushed out prematurely before your questions or concerns are addressed. Not only is he interested in building a relationship with your child, but he's also interested in building a long-term relationship with the parents.
