What an incredibly awful experience. Dr Eglen was extremely condescending and rude. I've never in…read moremy life been treated like this, especially in a doctor's office. I've never written a poor review before, but today warranted one. She didn't shake my hand, or say hello to my baby, she sat down at her computer and quickly began telling me what I would be doing at the visit. Talking at me, with zero attempt to have a conversation with me or attempt to educate. She repeatedly told me I was wrong, at least 4 times, as I assured her my baby had a combination vaccine with a previous pediatrician. She said "you are wrong" "that doesn't exist." Unbelievable. Well Dr, I called my previous pediatrician office and the name of combination vaccine is Vaxelis. It does exist. She was cold, rude, smug, and unwilling to collaborate with me. In an attempt to find middle ground I assured her I was there for vaccines for my 6 month old. She outright refused to discuss my concerns. She didn't inquire about my baby's reaction to the first round of vaccines, she had zero concern for patient centered care. I finally said I think we are wasting each others time, at which point she stood up, said "you are wasting my time" and she left the exam room. We will obviously not be returning. What a sad, inflexible physician. Save yourself the time and find some one else!
