This place is so popular that there is always a line to enter. They have outside seating and indoor seating. It is just what you want. The churros were very crispy and tasty. The chocolate was hot and amazing. No you can't dip the churros in chocolate. It is not allowed! Just kidding! That is the BEST PART! Dunk them, stir, let the churros swimx whatever you want there is jo wring way on eating a churro. Just know that it is a piece of heaven! I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did.

Seemed like a semi sweet or dark chocolate to me.

It's always fun to learn more about the history of the country when you participate in the events. We sampled 6 different cheeses as well as wine and sausage while the owner made cheese for us. Everything that we sampled was amazing. The retail location is across the street and had a great selection of cheeses and wines.

We were able to sample about 6 different cheeses along with some chorizo sausage and Spanish white wine. They did not speak English but we had an English speaking tour guide with us. The two men who did the tasting not only made it fun but informative as well. One of them actually made some cheese right in front of us that we were then able to taste. There was history of the different cheeses given to us while we were eating. I visited the store after the tasting and it looked really nice inside with a wide array of different cheeses, cured meats, etc.

The barista really knows what she is doing - our coffees were extracted perfectly and the coffee-milk distribution was just right. Although there are a few ice cream shops along Avenida Marina (one of the main streets in this part of A Coruña), Heladeria Colon was my favorite of the shops we tried. (Yes, there was more ice cream in my future.) It's a pretty popular place - you can guarantee that there will be a long queue, especially later into the evening. I have no idea how the employees manage to have such energy helping countless customers and staying on their feet for hours on end. It's best not to get to the shop TOO late, or you may be sadly informed that your first and second choices of flavors are no longer available. Because my first choice (turron) was no longer available, I selected a cone of the crema tostada flavor. The ice cream tasted just like the classic dessert that is made using eggs, sugar, and milk. The texture of the ice cream itself was so smooth and creamy. 2 Euro well-spent!

Lunch in La Coruna! This cafe was in the old town was…read morerecommended by the receptionist at our hotel and luckily, we happened to be walking by at lunch time. The €9 menu del dia was really fabulous with lots to choose from - eight primero platos and eight segundo platos. Our favourite was the Carrillada Iberica - a delicious rich stew made from pork cheeks!! This place was full of local people and the waitress was really attentive.
