I was replacing fascia on my house and the Carpenters felt there were termites not rotted wood!!!. Completely panicked.. I called for three estimates. Truly nolen came out, barely looked and said I had subterranean termites and wood termites and it was going to cost close to $3800. Don, the owner of Veritas, came out and told me I don't have subterranean termites just rotted wood. Yay,!! He Went through my whole attic which truly nolen didn't and said there's a suspicious place and we'll look at it again in 9 months. I didn't have to pay a penny. They are thorough and really spent the time assessing our property not only looking at the issues we said we had but also checked for any other possible problems. We had our house tented for termites a month or so ago and it was done very efficiently there was no residue no mess. The only inconvenience is bagging everything and then unbagging it. Certain food items had to be bagged but other than that nothing else. We would use them again but since we have a five year warranty we feel very confident. read more

I am writing this review of Veritas because I feel that it is so rare to experience a company that goes above and beyond for service anymore. I own a vacation rental on AMI but live in the Midwest. On the 23rd of December, I had guests both checking out and checking in with about a 6-hour window between for cleaning. My cleaners found some debris that they felt could have been left from termites or some other pest. Of course, I was a bit panicked knowing that the pest control company my house manager normally used was on vacation during that week. I called Veritas kind of in a panic, as I didn't want my renters to have pest problems over the Christmas holiday. The owners were so nice and reassuring to me, and said they were headed out that way and that they would go there within the hour! They looked at the issue and assured me that it would be okay to wait until all my renters departed before having it treated. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me to have some peace of mind after having had someone check it out. We then scheduled service for this week and they completed it today. They didn't even charge me for the extra visit and followed up after treatment today. I feel that they were more than honest and that you can trust them to diagnose the true problem. I have decided to change my quarterly service to them and feel confident that our vacation home is being well looked after. read more
