Service tech good but said could not access verizon site to put in new ssid pass word his company and cant get access? After creating verizon acct and verified via email denied access says account unavailable [on multiple verizon apps] no wireless signal here per alarm company and police [on a busy street/ not a rural area] verizon tech support many hours on line with them many repair tickets they test lines which shows problem they cant fixtheir response call again for further trouble. Won't go back. This is NOT a Verizon corporate store, it is an outside authorized dealer called Cellular sales, it's painted to look like a corporate store though. They also won't tell you they are not a Verizon store, this is actually a thing Verizon is allowing for many stores. I upgraded my phone on 3/23/24. I did not ask for nor want to change my plan. A rep named Noah, changed my plan without telling me. He didn't even upgrade me to a good plan, just slightly higher plan than where I was, just enough that he could get a bigger commission and we might not have noticed the change. My husband caught it when he just happened to go to a different store a week later to upgrade his own phone but it happened to be a corporate store. So, the sneaky switch was bad enough, but they did something messed up to my number when they activated my phone as well. He messed it up so badly that Verizon tier 2 tech couldn't even figure out how to fix the phone for two hours and eventually had to just end up canceling my number, deleting it from my account and starting over. We're still not sure what was done. I couldn't receive calls for a week. A nice guy at the same store helped me call Verizon at least, so not all the reps are bad. I wouldn't go here again, I don't appreciate being scammed. A complaint was put in with Verizon against the store and the sales rep. *cross posted on Google reviews* read more

I cannot stress more how unprofessional and rude the people of this store are. From the eye rolling when I walked in to "do you want to tell me how to do my job" and "do you want to keep explaining or listen to what I'm saying". I went in to get my bill fixed. Signed up for service on 4/4. My first bill came out 4/6 for THE PREVIOUS MONTH 3/4 - 4/3. Before I had service. I brought the printouts. I had been on the phone with Verizon for 3.5 hours trying to get it fixed. I walked in with frustration, I wasn't overly pleasant but I also didn't cuss the guy or do much beyond try and show him the dates showing on the paper. I was unaware pleasantries had to be exchanged to not be incorrectly billed. I don't often feel this way but there should be some employee review here. read more

While my cell service is sketchy, the products and support at this store keep me with Verizon. Service agents take the time to make it right even when the computer says "not today". I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for about 30 years and have had a few issues with their customer service in the Salem, Virginia store on Main Street. Yesterday was the most frustrating day ever trying to get my new iphone 11 pro activated. I made 3 trips to the store before Alan Mutispaugh helped get it activated right. First trip the red headed guy didn't get his name was rude and no help he took out the new sims card and placed in the new phone lost the new sims card I told him I planned on using the old iphone 7 to replace a iphone 6 on our cell phone line he wasn't listening and asked me again what I needed because he thought I said something about insurance, no I did not. He gives the new phone back and asked did I have internet I said yes and he says go home and put it on internet to finish activating. It never activated so within an hour I closed up my business to go back to have it taken care of this time the same man this time asked for my pin number and told me it was invalid could it be something else nothing worked. He says they can not reset the pin number that the primary is my husband and they would need to sent him a code to his cell phone I said call him to which he says No he needs to be here in person. All this for a pin number I was pissed because he was not making this easy and appeared to be unconcerned. Back at work I got on my account page and changed the pin number and added the new phone to my line etc....I was doing his job and already paid $40 activated fee when I ordered my phone on the Apple website...oh yes he also told me if I had gotten the phone in the store I wouldn't be having these problems. I said that was Bull crap! After work I went back to the store and this time got Alan he listened as I complained about neither phones ringing in. I'm sure the dude had suspended my number I put the sims card in both phones and had signal but nothing Alan tried to call it also.
