She said she didn't have enough time to look at it yet. I took it to cyberline on electric road and they fixed it in 4 hours. I would not recommend roanoke computers to my worst enemy. Awful, awful service

My wife had her iPad screen replaced at this shop over a year ago…read more We noticed the edge of the screen seemed loose several months later, but the iPad was still functioning. Then this weekend, the screen started to appear "jerky" and the iPad was pretty much useless. We called a couple places open on Sunday that wanted over $200 for a new screen. I thought we should get a new iPad, rather than spend $200 to replace another screen on an outdated model. But we took it by the shop on Tuesday when they were open during the week. The tech had it working like new within 5 minutes, at no charge, and we didn't even have the receipt from the first repair. (I'm sure they could have looked it up if they thought we were dishonest). Anyway, really appreciate the immediate attention when I stopped by and quick fix.

Whatever it is, they must of turned it around...or maybe I could see that they were a skeleton crew helping multiple people with varying issues that take time to solve. Who knows. I don't know what it is with me, but I only ever seem to update my phone while on a personal trip. Last time I did I was on vacation as well. It was time to upgrade. The phone I had was well past it's prime and I was definitely in need of a newer model. This location happened to be the closest to where I was at the moment and when I finally made the decision to upgrade. Pulled in and walked right into the store. There were already several customers in here being attended to. Nothing out of the ordinary. I was greeted and informed that it would be a bit of wait as they were the only two working. I was in no rush. When they had made their way through the issues with other customers to a point where they could finally help me, things went as smoothly as they could. I might have been one of their easiest customers that day. I knew what I was here for, what I wanted and understood that it may take longer than a minute to have it completed. Told the guy that I wanted to upgrade. He asked what make, color, and storage size. Went to the back and grabbed it and started to get the process going. I appreciate that I no longer have to backup my phone on a computer and reinstall that to my new phone. I was told that the transfer of materials on my phone could take up to an hour and that I could wait or go run some errands and come back. I opted for the latter. You know how odd it is that you don't have your phone with you for an hour and how dependent you are of it. I mean I use mine for everything from music to GPS. I came back at about the hour mark and walked back in. The two were helping more customers and I had a wait, but I wasn't worried as I was about to get my new phone. When they got around to me they handed me the phone to make sure everything transferred over. They asked me if I wanted to buy any accessories and it wasn't a hard sale. I already knew I wanted the glass protector and case. They also told me that if I bought two I could get a third free, no brainer there. The only thing I wasn't happy about this time around was the fact that the AT&T brand glass protector is no longer free to replace if there is a crack that develops. You now have to pay $10 to have it replaced. For as much as I am paying for a new phone, you can at least include that. All in all, at the end of the day, not much changed on my phone plan. Trading in my older version brought the monthly price down greatly. Overall service here was great even though they had tons of people in the store.
