I had an excellent experience with this Verizon Wireless location. While pondering upgrading my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to the newest device S25 Ultra I searched on-line for phones and plans. Verizon had a trade in offer of $1000 to upgrade to the newest Galaxy. My old phone was in perfect condition and there were no issues but from my history with phones when things go bad I tend to have to upgrade immediately and they offer very little to no money for non working phones. A representative from this Verizon Wireless location called me. He told me that he saw I was interested in upgrading my phone but was wondering why I had not finalized my decision. He then asked if he could explain my options and walk me through different plans and devices. Thankfully Verizon's website has all the information you need to do everything online and explains everything very well. I truly appreciated the young man's call and if they did not close so early and charge $40 for me to come into the store I would have possibly did my upgrade in store. Either way the location provided excellent service. I strolled online for a few days trying to decide if I wanted my new phone mailed to me, have an associate come to my house and help me set it up for $40, go into the store and have someone do the upgrade also $40 or pickup the phone from the store and do it myself for free. I'm not sure when they started charging customers to come into the store for upgrades but if a phone cost over $1200 everything else should be free. I chose free and decided on having the phone placed in a locker at this Verizon location after I purchased it. I received an email once my phone was ready for pickup. I love that they have a locker pickup option and allowed me to get the phone at my convenience. When I arrived the store was closed. My pickup email gave clear instructions on how to retrieve my purchase from the locker. It was a painless process that took about 3 minutes, my phone and receipt were in a bag inside when I finally opened the locker. Although I did not have face to face contact, this Verizon location exceeded my expectations. I left feeling confident in my purchase and extremely satisfied with the service provided. I will definitely return to this store in the future if I need help with my phone or to purchase accessories. read more

They left me sitting after buying the best new phone s25 ultra. They instructed me to not touch your new or old phone while it transfers. So I did. Over half an hour passed as I sat patiently. I asked where is my salesman. They couldn't find him. He never even started the transfer so someone else gave me instructions to do it myself. read more

I visited today to pickup a new tablet I had ordered online. The store had just opened when I entered and there were two customers in front of me. I heard customer #1 asking to speak to a manager, the Verizon employee responded stating he was the manager. Customer #1 then asked for his name, the employee/manager responded, "I will deal with you in a minute". Went to customer #2 and asked if he had an appointment, then asked what he was here for. The Verizon employee/manager then asked me the same if I had an appointment. When the Verizon employee/manager then went back to customer #1, he asked what was the issue. Customer #1 stated you didn't ask me how I was doing or anything, just do you have an appointment. I thought this was ironic as I felt the same way when only being asked of I had an appointment. The employee/manager then went on to argue with customer #1 stating he did ask how he was doing. I did not hear the initial conversation, but should it matter? Should a manager act this way? Next time I will wait the extra 2 days for a delivery instead of using this store for pickup. If I had been a new customer looking for new or a different service provider, I believe I would take my business elsewhere. Recommend the manager taking a class in customer service and/or be counseled for his behavior. read more

The rudest retail store I have ever entered Centerville, GA on Watson blvd. Sunday morning my son & I entered the store & from even be we entered the manager was rude. Never welcomed us, refused to help us & there were 4 other employees & no customers. No service. I could not believe people could be this rude and still in business. I was in retail for 34 years plus and never seen anything like this. Refused to help my son and I. They had no customers at 10:05am the manager said appointments start at 11am there were 5 total employees but he refused to help us. He wanted to make us an appointment for 12 noon and I told him we had a funeral to attend but he didn't care what my problem was. He refused to do anything. read more

This location is quite busy, but most of the staff is friendly and, if they're too busy to help you before they close, they will stay late and take care of your needs. They are very helpful, even though they seem to be stretched a bit thin. This location could use a few more computers for the sheer volume of customers that I've seen every time I've visited, and probably a few more employees as well, but I'm just nitpicking and it's nothing against the people who are there now. As it is, during peak hours, they seem to have a good handle on greeting people as they enter and getting them queued up to be helped in order, for the most part. When I was setting up my account, the person assisting me was quite rude, to the point that I told her never mind and went back another day to see somebody else (not sure if they get commission or not, but meh, I just didn't want to talk to her any longer). Went in to get my phone repaired and of course it was "unrepairable" but they had a good deal on the iPhone 8, so here we are with monthly payments. Then they sold us the screen protector "practically indestructible" has a lifetime warranty and everything. Well.. he didn't put it on right and within 24 hours there were 2 huge air pockets underneath the screen, 48 hours later and the screen cracked in several spots so we called them back and explained the situation, oh, that's not our problem any longer you have to call the warranty center to replace it. Ok, called the warranty center and low and behold there are fees involved with them too, 15$ to ship the screen? Seriously? I took my phone to a local shop where he put a new one on for 12$, told me if I have any trouble come see him. I just left the store and I honestly don't want to return. This was my first time here and I was not aware that I had to sign in. I proceeded to look at phones until an associate was available. No one greeted me or acknowledged me at all. I sat down for a couple minutes until I saw a customer get up and leave after being serviced. The associate that was helping him started talking to another couple that was being assisted by another associate. I'm still sitting there not being acknowledged.( I got there around the time when the store opened so there were only two other families being assisted.) I got up and asked the associate is she open/available and she told me no. Her face and tone was if I was clueless or bothering her. She then told me that I need to sign in. It got quiet and I honestly felt embarrassed. She didn't try to direct me to where to sign in or anything. What the heck is wrong with this people at this location, its like they don't listen to the customers clearly. I ended having to call customer service to enquire about the discounts i was promised. The people there seem to only care about just pushing the item and charging prices rather than listening and taking care of the customer. Be careful and keep an eye on the details of what is being offered. Most of them who work there don't care at all. Its all about the paycheck to them. be observant people. check your bills. These idiots at this location are just charging you and not providing what is promised. They tell you one thing and do something else. employee's completely mislead on contracts and items. required us to go up 3 separate time and countless hours on customer support because of there inability to properly do there job. refused to overnight ship my phone (even tho customer support says they are suppose to if its not in stock). the managerial staff was no help at all either as they just pawned us off to others and said the Verizon site was wrong and there store was correct. some of the staff is great. but others make me think if they even know what a cell phone is. read more

I have had many unpleasant experiences at this store, but today has to take the cake. Two years ago, my wife and I were married and I merged my cell phone accounts onto my wife's Verizon account. We stood there after returning from our honeymoon, gave them her new name, and she had them put my name on the account for access, changes etc. Fast forward to today. 10 days ago, I had emergency life saving surgery. I will be out of work and home until late December, and have no choice about it. Yesterday, my smartphone was accidently dumped into the sink, and quickly died. It is my only pnone, I do not use a home landline anymore. My wife is a Nursing Supervisor who works 7p - 7a shifts, and then sleeps from 9am-5pm... usually several days in a row. So this morning, a neighbor drives me to this store, even though I am not suppossed to leave home yet. The problem, is i dont have a way of communicating , even with 911, tonight or tomorrow night while I am home alone recupperating from a very serious operation. I went in and said i wanted to trade my not working Droid Incredible for a new Droid Razor M. As we stepped up to the register... first, the girl says, the account name is still in my wife's former name... and then, that i am not on the account and it cannot be done unless they speak with her. I explained the issue to her... gave her 3 things that would tell her I was who i said i was, and explained she couldnt speak to my wife cuz she was asleep, and i wasnt strong enough to come back later. She said ,,, sorry, cant do it. I was NOT happy. I went to the car ... thought about it and went back in and asked... i am not charging anything to the acct, i will pay you cash. She again said no ... the reason ? "Your wife might not want you to upgrade". I asked for the store manager ...and i believe that the person who came out was Iris Boyd. I explained my problem again, and received identical answers. There was no offer of an alternative ... like give me a used phone for $50 and 2 days of use so I had at least 911 access while home alone tonight. NO humanity, NO Nothing. If I had been thinking, I would have given some female on the street $10 to call them, give them my wife's last 4 of her SS#, say it was her... then gone back to get my phone. That is how secure, this whole veil of privacy really is. But, I dont think like a crook...so I lost today. What horrible service. They should be ashamed of having a corporate store like this, with robotic employees who cannot think on their feet and solve a real crisis issue for an ill customer who really needed help. I didnt ask for anything for free...I just asked to be able to spend some money in their store. We had 5 phones there for years. Just disabled my phone. Not once has the account not been in good standing. I think as soon as we are able ... we need a new provider. This is simply disgraceful. A perfect example of Customer NO Service. read more

I was recently terribly disappointed in the customer service I received from this Verizon location and from the customer service phone operator. I wanted to activate a MIFI 2200 that I had previously purchased from Verizon Online. I was using a Verizon Router and Home phone T1114 and wanted to switch devices on line. For what ever the reason the online customer service did not know how to activate the device they sold me. (unbelievable) They than said they would send me a complementary device since they couldn't get me going? (What a dummy I was for believing them) They sent a new MIFI and charged me for activation and a two year contract. I called again and told them I did not want any device with a contract and they told me if I took it to their company store in Warner Robins, there would be no charge for returning the MIFI and no contract. So I drove thirty miles each way to WR and this is where the review of the local Verizon starts. Nice looking store, walk in and right away I noticed three or four people standing around, walked up to desk and one of the sales people, a young man dressed in seedy looking t-shirt, walked up and asked to help. I was immediately turned off by his appearance and even more by his demeanor, I explained that I needed to turn in the MIFI and stated what Verizon had told me on the phone, He cut me short in a rude manner to explain that the store where I was at did not follow the instructions of Verizon customer service on the phone. He further stated they were going to charge me a $35 restock fee, even though the Verizon policy states restock fee after 14 days, and the customer service operator told me no charge. He cut me off again and said in a rude manner " Do you want to return it of not!". I told him yes and he proceeded to complete the return transaction without further comment. They charged me $35 dollars, for which I had to ask for a receipt, and proceeded to activate another device as I requested in it's place. Instead of following my instructions and replacing the device on the MIFI line I just turned in, he added a new line which resulted in a additional activation fee and line fee. I don't know if he was being painful or what, but someone at Verizon needs to teach this bunch what customer service is, and how to present themselves as professional, customer service representatives of Verizon. I went to my local store this past weekend to upgrade 2 of myphones I have and to reinstate a new 2 year contract. The phones I was upgrading were both broken, but were bought in 2011 so it was time to upgrade. I went Saturday evening, but as I was a bit unsure on the phone choice, the associate encouraged me to think on it a night. She told me to ask for her when I returned. I returned Sunday and asked for her. She was with another customer but said she'd be right with me. After an hour she came over to apologize, and said she was going to have her manager take care of me. Her manager was rather confusing, and I ended up on a plan I did not want. His insistence that he was saving me money going to the More Everything/Edge programs was a lie. He told me I could get the 2 Samsung Galaxy S5s for the sale price and make payments using the edge program, which I later found to be false. One of my phones had to be ordered, as they were out of stock. Online said overnight shipping was available, and he didn't say otherwise when I asked. I asked to have it shipped to the store, but was told it couldn't be. I was told I would get a tracking number that night. I finalized my transactions and left, though I was not happy that I was leaving without one phone. Monday I had not received my tracking number so I called customer service. The woman I spoke with said my package had shipped but she didn't have the tracking number because I ordered it at a store. She did verify it was overnight shipping and that I should have it Tuesday. Tuesday I still had no tracking number. I called customer service again, this time speaking to Linda. I was informed my phone was not put down for overnight shipping so I would not receive it until Thursday. She asked why I didnt get it shipped to the store, so I told her I was told that wasn't allowed, to which she replied that I was lied to. She said she was sorry but that if I needed a phone I could go to the store and buy one and when the one arrived in the mail I could return it to sender. I questioned that, and then was informed that my phones on the edge program were $600 each, not the promotional price I was told. By the is point I was angry and frustrated. And frankly, Linda seemed to not care. I asked could she fix it all for me, but she said I should go to the store because it would be easier. She then reiterated that they could also sell me my other phone there. I told Linda I was tired of spending time at the store and very unhappy with the whole issue. I questioned the customer service being given. Why should I have to pay for a 3rd phone? She stated that there was nothing she could do because verizon is a business and they can't always so what the customer wants and I should look at it from a business standpoint because verizon has to make money. I told her I'd go to the store and if they didn't fix it I'd be leaving verizon, then ended the call. After 2 hours on the phone I expected better customer service. That evening I took my phone to verizon and spoke with a manager. After telling him everything Linda told me he sighed and said he could not sell me a phone, but could fix my plan and costs, but that customer service constantly misinforms customers as to what the store can do. He also said she could have fixed all my plan issues by phone just as easy. He explained that he couldn't sell me another phone because the one in the mail was already attached to the line I upgraded so I'd just have to wait. At this point I'd been there another 45 mins. Myy husband wanted to leave verizon, but I chose to have faith that some compensation would occur. The manager said he would correct plan and he my phone off the edge. Then he informed me I would have to return again to have the other phone taken off the edge, when it arrived Thursday. Wow, lucky me. Another trip. More wasted time. Once home I again called customer service. This time I spoke with Carlos. He assisted with filing a 360 form on Linda for the unprofessional attitude and misleading information. I told him I was worried about the shipment. He said I could leave a note on the door to have fedex leave it without my signature. My delivery is set for Thursday between 2 pm and 6pm. I will be at work until 3pm. I will leave a note, but if fedex does not accept it I will have to drive 30 minutes to the FedEx place to pick it up. I then will drive 45 minutes to the store to have that phone taken off edge. My time is obviously not valuable to verizon. Its become more stressful than its worth. Do they truly care about the customer? Or is it really just business, all about them making money? I find it very distasteful that the store and customer service blame each other. Obviously neither knows what really can or can't be done, and both lack true customer service. After everything I've been through, I deserve better than what I've received. read more

My husband and I went into this establishment to inquire bout upgrading his phone. We did not have the time to upgrade at that moment so we decided to come back later. While in route to return we realized there was a Verizon closer to our home but since a rep at this location had previously assisted we decided to bypass the closer location. BIG MISTAKE. My husband and I joined the Edge program and were completely taken advantage of. We chose our phones and the rep came from the stock room with charges, phone cases, screen protectors and then instructed us that we needed to pick an additional accessory as it all was included with our upgrade. We informed him that we did not need all of the accessories as we were upgrading from the iPhone 5 to 6 and the charges are the same and we could go to best buy to get phone cases. The rep then informed us that the price would be the same regardless of if we took the accessories or not so of course. We decided to take them. We were informed that all we had to pay was $8.29 and our monthly bill w/ unlimited talk, text and 10GB would be $173 + tax. Great, right? WRONG! Fast forward to the first billing cycle and our bill is $406!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called billing support and they informed me that we were being charged 1 time taxes on the phone upgrades (no disclosed) and $150 bc we purchased an accessory bundle (keep in mind the rep told us it was included with the upgrade not that it was an optional bundle addition. So, I then call this store for an apology at least. The first supervisor I spoke with informed me that he understood my frustration and would talk with the rep who assisted and being that my husband and I have not even touched the accessories he would allow us to return them for a refund. This conversation was held on a Sunday. Fast forward to the next Friday. I call and speak with a 2nd supervisor (bc the first is not in) and explain the situation. He says, let me look into something, then the next thing I know the rep who mislead us in the first place is on the line attempting to plead his innocence. No apology. No attempt to resolve. No nothing! The customer service at this location sucks and I look forward to expressing that fact to as many sources as I can. read more

The question you need to ask your sales rep, before signing ANYTHING, is, "please show me the sales invoice, what have you added that we did not discuss, and that I did not ask for". Some shady folks at this store. I bought a Moto G6 and Latoria added "total mobile protection" @$13/month. Trusting fool that I am (had the previous Verizon phone 5 years), didn't check the receipt in store. When I read the receipt at home, I called Verizon, they couldn't remove the charge, and referred me back to the store. Back at the store, manager said he couldn't change the charge until the phone was activated (requiring trust that I did not have). At that point I wanted to return the phone, but manager insisted that I would pay a $35 restock fee. Why couldn't he just void the transaction and make it right, rather than being all non-managerial. I'm slightly boogered, since Verizon is the only viable service where I spend most all of my time, and my Droid Mini(2013) is getting flaky with the power switch.
