I literally had a fellow patron walk out behind me, and explain what was said by the above GM and 3 other employees(1 female who whispers VERY LOUDLY) and then I get this message emailed to me-ONLY after taking more time to write a review that THE SAME OFFICE EMAILED ME and asked me to write!! Why ask for a review, only for me to be truthful and carry this much unprofessionalism AFTER the disservice was to me? I drove to the store 6 times to get a new "green" case bought in store. Turns out it was for my benefit as I discovered they were showing a Series 6 watch while wearing a 7. He explained I could take black, as they didn't have the green case I bought to match the green phone. He applied a $30 credit and walked away while I eventually yelled "SIR"-for the 6th time. He was Headed into the GMs office. Slammed the door. I actually would have bought the Beats Headphones he had just priced, but based on his delivery of the price and storming off, I wasn't allowed too. Horrible store. Just stand in line and ask anybody waiting. It's easy to obtain information on the stores reputation. Maybe they listen as well as their patrons or to their patrons and the store would be 20% better. Things are so different dealing with the store now. You have to wait outside by the door You are not allowed to even wait inside by the door, so when it's cold it's no fun They come to the door ask why you are there , take your number and you wait again. This particular time I am writing about is for my phone warranty. My battery would die at 50% for no reason, wouldn't hold a charge long. I tried calling only to be sent to a robot who made a claim ticket up and never finished. I waited a few days nothing. Then I called to try making a appointment with the store. The phone system does not send you to the local store even though you call the local number. The guy that helped was very good , filled everything out fast and said I'd have the phone the next day. It never came. I waited again the next day nothing. I made a call and I finally talked to a representative who gave me my tracking number. Didn't know anything about it but I looked it up and it said it wasn't far away. It had been in the same town maybe 40 min away and it kept showing out for delivery. I finally received the day after Thanksgiving! I have no clue what happened but finally. They gave me 5 days to return my old one which would be $500 if not returned!! Run do not walk away from anything to do with Verizon's main main company especially customer support I bought a prepaid mobile hotspot that lapse after I paid the fee I was unable to access the Internet with it spent 4 days total of 10 hours on their customer supportheir customer support was hung up given to the wrong department and continually continually disconnected as they couldn't help This used to be a good company but their customer support is nothing but total frustration I have refuted the charge With my bank and will not deal with them again total waste of money and time this is sad. read more

Terrible customer service. Not blaming the Verizon Store of Forest City, NC, in general, but Verizon. I talked with a Verizon customer service representative and they placed me on a plan to pay off and close my account. With one payment left to complete my agreement, I received a letter in the mail from a bill collector requesting final payment. I refuse to be "BULLIED" by any company, and if my payment is not accepted at any Verizon store, then it will be their loss. read more

Verizon Wireless was contacted by phone after sending me a notice on my Verizon account that my device would be disabled at the end of 2022. There suggestion was to upgrade. The Verizon rep. said that a 72 hour trial of the new device was available at no charge if the device was returned to a corporate store within 72 hours. This information was also relayed to my spouse by Verizon since my spouse's name was on the account. The Verizon rep. said all details would be documented in the account. After receiving the device and determining that it does not work well in my area, I returned it to the Forest City Verizon store 48 hours after receiving it. Employees at the store argued that there was no such thing as a 72 hour trial. They said the only way they would accept the device was if I paid a restocking fee. They refused to call Verizon with the account information and investigate the details. My spouse called Verizon and argued that the store was saying something different than what was agreed to in the initial account setup. Meanwhile the Verizon store employee told me that they have a different system than the online upgrade division and they would charge me $50 to return the device. This was completely opposite of what was agreed to during the account setup on the phone. So, after driving for an hour and spending an hour in the store I had no resolution to the problem. The lies told by Verizon employees to make a sale have been a reoccurring event. Verizon is using deceptive business practices to steal money from consumers. I have chosen to use another carrier but feel that I have been taken advantage of again by Verizon. read more
