Young man who assisted us was friendly and helpful in the store however transaction took 4 hrs, then I was told my phones would be shipped, didn't arrive, called was on hold for 20 minutes to speak with a real person then transferred 3 times, was told on back order, and that I had to be home to receive my device to sign for it, they would attempt 3 times then order would be canceled, well I work so that's not a plan!! After all that had to cancel. Oh and they said I would receive shipping boxes to return my trade in I got 2 envelopes and no box and am missing one envelope and label all together so here I go again having to call customer service!! My iPhone 7 would not update (saying there wasn't enough space left) which caused me to not be able to make calls or even send texts! After several attempts to reduce the used storage, my sister and I went to the Verizon store on north Range Line. We were warmly and immediately greeted by Alex. I highly recommend asking for him when you visit this store. He was simply THE BEST Verizon employee we've ever had and we've been Verizon customers for over 20 years! Alex fully and patiently explained our two options; a replacement through our insurance plan or purchase a different phone. Not once did I feel pressured! I now have a wonderful iPhone 11 in my favorite color, yellow and a snazzy complementing coral colored case that lets me see the phone color, yet has excellent grip edges, to help keep me from dropping the phone!!! Don't wait if your phone is angry...ask for Alex at the Verizon store near the Mall in Joplin !!! read more

Pleasantly surprised! My husband and I both were having issues with our phones. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly and helpful young man. He was able to show me what was wrong with mine and fixed it on the spot. My husband's phone needed a new SIM card which he replaced for us at no cost! We were on our way in a matter of minutes. We've been to several Verizon stores before in out travels and have never received such customer service. Thank you! read more

Liars. Dont be stupid, this husband and wife team load you up on false info to make a sale. They talked us into trying a hum device on our truck. After being billed more than what we were told, and finding flaws in the device, it has give erronious location of the vehicle 2/3 of the time, it alerts us to issues with the truck that are not there, and we were told there is no contract involved, and lo and behold! We are in a two year contract that will cost us $$ to buy out of. When are sales people going to be accountable for their mouths? read more

Asked if they had a 4.8 amp(2.4 amps/port) car charger. They said they did so I bought it. Tried using phone with gps and phone showed that it was slow charging. That means that the charger is not a rapid charger. Took it back with receipt within 14 days and was told I needed the little plastic bag as well. I also found out that the manager does not know what amps are and he works at a phone store. You should know what powers your devices if you work there. Also, who keeps a simple plastic bag if they are not planning on returning it. Totally disappointed & will not be purchasing anything else from the store.
