If I could give zero stars I would. I have been a loyal customer with Verizon for over 10 years. I went to this store to get two new phones. The sales person who helped me told me that I should apply for a 3rd line and then I would qualify for a promotional discount that would actually keep my payment where it was with the trade in. I said I didn't need a 3rd line and was told just throw it in a drawer but we needed to do it to get the discount. I said great! So we work through the details and transfer info over to the new phones. That part was great and easy. However the promotional discount I was promised didn't work. I was told don't worry about it. It was a known issue and I would see emails showing they were working on it. I leave and wait a couple of hours and see nothing so I go back to the store. They tell me sorry they were wrong and only the manager can see that info but again they are working on it. Ok and I leave again. I wait until the next day and still nothing so I go back to the store. The person who helped me yesterday is off and the manager working said she could not see anything because she didn't enter the offer?? But she also said there was a system issue and it it was taking longer but assured me they would make it right. I go home again. I wait a week and nothing. I go back to the store and the same person who originally helped me was there. She said that I would get the discount for the 3rd line but there system would not actually show it until the bill was cut. Guess what - my bill was cut that Monday and no discount. I went back to the store and again the same person was working who now says you have to call billing. Unbelievable!! I go home and spend and hour on the phone with them who said they would need to review and would call me back Friday. Friday comes and no call. I call back and get someone new who says that the discount was for 4th so she disconnected the 3rd line for me but my bill is still $20 more a month than promised. I believe I am owe that at a minimum. She said she would look into applying loyalty discount because I'm such a good customer. I wait until the following Tuesday and again nothing. So I call back and asked to speak to a manager. They are trying to see if they can get me that discount but I won't know until 10/20. At this point I feel as if I'm stuck but I will share everywhere because I feel like this was very shady. I get I go once to the store and maybe misunderstood but I went 4 separate times and asked very directly what this discount was going to be and was told the same thing every time. read more

My wife and I wanted to switch phone service from T-Mobile to Verizon on December 20, 2024. So we went into Verizon. They said that they would they had a new program to pay off our phone which we had just purchased three months earlier from T-Mobile ,which was around $1,000 , they would give us $800 we would have to pay the rest, which I did ,after three months. T-Mobile wanted to charge me every month because the phone was not paid off ,which we had to pay one month $60 , the person that talked us into it, his name was. Nick he was a very nice person, but didn't know what he was doing. He assured us that we would receive an $800 Visa card and five weeks. We did not get anything for three months, at this time repeated call to Verizon corp, and their store. We have not got nothing accomplished. It's now March 20 of 2025 and they still haven't sent us the visa they promised us to. They have no problem billing us within the first week or two another couple hundred dollars, but they won't pay us the $800. I don't think they're bad people but they don't know what they're doing ,or they're getting wrong information from somebody.or is this just a scam , i'm currently filing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General and any other organization to help seniors that got defrauded by companies thank you read more

Reps are extremely rude, and VERY NON-EMPATHETIC!!! I came in, because of the rep that took my order on the online, chat portion of Verizon wireless. He stated that I could pick up the phone, and they would mail me my sim card for the BOYD plan. I walked into the store, the reps didn't even say hello, no hi how ya doing, welcome to verizon wireless, they just go nope we can't pull up your order, cut me off during talking, and that's a 100% NO NO!!! ON MY END!!! didn't even use their computer's to look up my name, and they acted like they were afraid to do their job!!! Poor lady next to me, needed to do a phone factory reset, and the rep didn't know how to do it!!! smdh OH FOR REAL??? a 2 year old could do a factory reset!!! fix your customer service!!! i'll be going to corporate!!! I need a job badly, and this would be my dream job!!! I cannot stand people who take their jobs for granted!!! I('d give zero stars, but unfortunately y'all can't do that!!! Let me add that she did ask for an order number, I printed it out and she didn't even type it, they both just stood there shaking their heads, stating that they didn't have an order for me. Nothing was in their store, under my name. Just stated that I would get an email or a text, HELLO wth did i just give you??? I gave you the order number, that was sent to me in my email. Please fire everyone in that store!!! This is at the Marion store, on MT. Gilead road. Fix your number on your store, as well because they have the 800 number listed, not the 740 number, which is the proper number for the physical local store listing... read more

Edit to add- after writing the review below and Verizon responding to it asking for me to contact them, I took them up on it and messaged them. They couldn't even be bothered to respond, apparently, let alone try to resolve the issues. Chalk that up to yet another all sale and no service experience with them. I opened a business account here in October 2019 after having left Verizon in 2013 due to poor customer service. The only reason I went in then is because there is not a local 'major competing business' store in the area, so I thought I would see what they had to offer. They seemed to be helpful and said their customer service had gotten better because of so many similar complaints. Not the case at all, unfortunately. I was told I would receive $350 in bill credits that I never did. I was told my data was higher than it actually is. I was told the phone protection was included in the price for the business account which it isn't. I drop more calls now than I did at the other company. They are 100% sale, 0% service. Once the phone payment period is over they have lost my business again, for good this time. I'll drive the extra 30 minutes every couple of years to go elsewhere, they just aren't worth it, and really to the point of being criminal in their practices. There needs to be a major class action lawsuit for this, since I personally know others this has happened to. read more

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS STORE BUT A CALL IN TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Wow one of the worst customer service calls ever from Verizon wireless. And it's all recorded. She went in deleted my auto pay(I am sure by accident) then try's to say I never enrolled. The whole reason I was calling is for the last two months verizon has been pulling the bill directly from my account. I am supposed to receive an additional 20 dollars off my bill. Well the last few months nothing has been credited. So i call today explain the situation to the customer service rep. She then proceeds to tell "it was confused on were to apply the credit". BULLCRAP I called that right away. I said it's been pulling the money from my account it knows what account its pulling money from. She said ok I am going to remove the Mastercard so it's not confused any more. Then she said it looks like you was never enrolled in auto pay. ARE YOU SERIOUS. Did we not just have a convo about how it was confused but was still pulling money automatically. So she kept trying to tell me I have to apply and I told her look at the payment history. Its automatically paid. And she wouldn't do it. I said it dont say to enroll on my account. She said I am in your account now and it says it right there on your bill. So I log in and boom it definitely says enroll. So now I am telling her that she has messed my account up removing that payment option. So at this point i get heated and she hangs up. So I call back and talk to another customer service representative. She was really nice and looked up everything and saw that my auto pay was shut off today while I was on the phone with the other representative. She got it all fixed and applied our discounts and it was done and over with. To the lady you was a wonderful lady and I wish they would all treat customers the way you did. You handled the situation professionally and for that I applaud you!!! More will come from this. The lady said she is forwarding it to higher ups because she did go in my account and turn off and change things and then try to blame me lol. I still never got credited for the last two months because I forgot to ask with everything going on but I deserve a call from corporate about this situation and the phone call recordings on both sides of the phone. I record customer service calls for this reason. I was miss treated and a finger pointed at me like I was to blame. The woman don't need to be behind a computer with people's accounts. My name is at the top of this so I know you can find my contact info verizon. I would post the audio of the calls but advised not to. I just tried to stop in and pay my bill and was ignored and skipped in line. People are just standing around on their phones doing nothing. They were more than enough people to help read more

In fairness they did call me 2-3 times since I posted this review. The phone I bought is still the worst one I bought in 8 years or so. They did reach out though. read more
