Just left the store after a very terrible experience with one of their Male Sales Associates. He spoke down to my mother even telling her to stop talking and listen closely to what he said. Then told her to go somewhere else and think about it. She came in and made it very clear that she was excited to get a new phone for both herself and my sibling. Instead she was treated as though she was stupid and rushed out of the store. In 2025 I believe a woman should be allowed to make a financial decision without a man talking down to her and out right refusing the purchase she came in there wanting to make. The staff is friendly and they are all very helpful, the wait times can be very long sometimes (i've waited as long as 45 minutes for help before), but i've recently run into an issue where they've changed some kind of store policy that doesn't allow people to be helped if they do not have their physical ID on them. I absolutely hate this change! I don't currently have the time or the money to get a new ID, and I wanted to order a router in the store specifically so I didn't have to wait for shipping. I get that the excuse is that they're "protecting against fraud" but it's ridiculous that there isn't ANY other way to receive assistance in the store. They don't ask me to scan my ID when I change my plan or information online? We have freaking Face ID on our phones AND on the actual Verizon app?? It's just really inconvenient, it shouldn't feel like getting carded at a bar when i'm stopping in to a phone store lol read more

I had a recent online order that I had not received the credit since had not been approved. The good news is the phone agent resolved the issue straight away. Unfortunately the in store agent was not so professional and greeted me very rudely knowing that he would not do anything for me. He said the store can do nothing for you". Being the biggest cell phone provider may be why Verizon's customer service isn't so good. I wanted to talk to someone at a store to get clarification. I called the number listed for the store at 74th and Dodge. I explained to the person who answered what the situation was, and got no response. Hmm...guess we got disconnected. I was making progress with the second person when, disconnected! The 3rd time another person told me I had been passed on to her at the call center in Seattle. After explaining again what I was looking to find out, she explained to me what I needed to know. We did get disconnected two more times, but she called me back immediately, so I didn't have to start all over. I ended up buying a new phone and a new plan through Verizon. I asked about getting all the stuff from my old phone on to the new one, installing the screen protector etc. & she assured me they would do all that. Credit card info was given & I got several emails telling me congratulations etc. etc. My last question to her was, "So I just go over to the Dodge St store & pick it up?" Answer was yes. I hung out home for a couple hours & decided to call the store to make sure my phone was ready. Turns out you can't call the store direct, you are always talking to the call center, so I couldn't find out if they had gotten my order or not. I drove to 74th & Dodge where I found out customers must wait outside, even though the temperature is only 4 degrees. A man came out, asked my name, looked at his iPad and said, "I'll bring it out to you." So I had to stand outside in the 4° weather waiting for him to come back. He asked me if I had gotten an email telling me it was ready. Of course I was never told to wait for an email before going over there. So no. Man comes back & tells me my credit card was denied. Call this number he says giving me a piece of paper. So I went to the car and called the number. The person answering the phone couldn't find my account with my pin, but eventually was able to find it with other information. She asked me if I got the email I said no. Then I started looking at all my emails and I discovered one from my credit card company telling me I had fraud on my account. So my credit card company did deny it because they thought it was fraud. The woman I was talking to said she would be back in a minute, she needed to find out something. 10 minutes later she was still not back so I gave up and went home. Kudos to my credit card company for being on top of things, but they should have texted me. Verizon should have texted or emailed me about the problem. I'm going to investigate other carriers. read more

After paying twice the average amount for my cell, I decided to cancel. The online help was atrocious so I made an appt to come in to the store. Despite being told differently, the woman claiming to be the manager at the store said they do not cancel in store and was extremely rude. These reps make too much to be so sloppy. read more

I went there originally with the intentions of paying to get my phone number switched over with no prior experience of doing so, and Jason and Marcus both helped explained why the model I was trying to switch over to was impossible, and when I brought in a proper model Jason took 20 seconds to pop out my SIM card and switch it over free of charge! This Verizon is no where near me but I'll definitely not hesitate to drive down here again! Great customer service! read more

Stopped in for a SIM card for an iPhone 6. Had to wait 10 minutes or so. The text confirmation when you check in and when you're next was nice. Emerson was informative, efficient, and helpful. Once I explained what I needed, he said it would be painless, and it was. I was surprised at how easily the new card went in and the phone connected to my account. I dread dealing with technology service providers, but today's experience was as smooth as could be hoped. read more

I stopped in with the hope of leaving with a new phone but learned they only due to Covid I would need an appointment for this - very frustrating because I didn't see anything on the site that indicated this was necessary. Customer service were very poor at Omaha location Maple and Dodge. I recently bought a new phone and needed help with activate the phone. We went to Maple location on Saturday, was told to wait 2 hours then later kicked us out, the big and tall woman said to activate the phone at home. Today, avoiding to go to the store on weekend, I went to the store at 76th & Dodge. The young female agent said she can not help activate the phone, she didn't know how, stated that I was mistaken, she's not a tech, can't help. They're also profiling me, avoid to help me. I had to call that young woman to check if my name was on the calling list, turned out it wasn't but they all saw me came in and signed in with one of the male agent. I am not sure what is going on with Verizon, outsourcing jobs causing all this? read more

This is the worst witless companies. I was traveling and my phone broke, went to a Verizon store they sold me a phone. So I'm back home and come into this store. After a 1 hour wait, he picks up my phone and tells me. Ya nobody at a Verizon store would of sold you this phone. It's a piece of crap. No we can't help you, it was bought at a franchie store. So the last 14 months my phone never works. I bring it back to the store after 2 - 3 hours wait sometimes they fix sometimes not. But whatever you do the CS at this store stinks. Don't come here for help. While I was waiting 4 CS poeple stood around and when I ask to take care of me, I was in line. Plus 3 poeple stormed out swearing about everything. read more

This is the worst company, I spent from 11:00 - 1:00 trying to get customer service and nobody would answer the phone. I have an elderly lady that I help with different things that she has problems with she has tried to cancel her phone for 3 months I personally went with her to the verizon store after 2 hours they told us too not pay the bill and she would just be dropped from service and would never hear from verizon again well she received a bill again for twice as much with interest. I did finally get help to get the phone disconnected and they needed to talk to her about the bill as she was talking to the financially department she got dropped I kept calling back until 4:00 with no answer just was on hold for 2 hours again this lady is hard of hearing and legally blind my experience with verizon is terrible read more

This location is always hoppin'!! So when you go in, just be aware that it's always very busy. They have a great check in system that they use so they know how many people are waiting. I love the set up of the store. While you're waiting in assistance you can browse cool new products and gadegts or take a load off on their neat cirlcle couch thing (it has outlets all the way around it to charge up!!). The staff has always been extremely fun and friendly. I am sure they have to deal with a lot of crap during the day so I always try and make them smile! Dianne is always my go to girl for my phone! She knows what a lot about all of their phone and tablets and will send you in the direction that best fits your needs! Never pushy! read more

I really don't know which store is responsible as I talked on the phone. I was trying to cancel a Gizmo watch that I paid for for my granddaughter. She is old enough for a cell phone and her parents purchased one and added her to their plan. I went into the store to cancel but was told cancelling cannot be done at the store. IN other words they can take your money at the store but they cannot do anything that returns money to you. So I call the number they give me. After an extensive conversation where I explained multiple times why I was cancelling, which by the way is none of their business and may right, I was told that it was all taken care of. Well surprise, surprise it is still on my bill for this month. I cannot be more frustrated. Clearly customer service is rewarded in some way to not facilitate cancelling a service-which makes the title customer service completely ridiculous. But on a recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service and the ease it was to get in and out in only a few minutes. Right away, the greeter opened the door for us and asked us what we needed (phone swap). She then sent us to a man who immediately helped us. Five stars for Britney who set me up with a free (new device fee and small monthly charge) tablet and spent time getting me started with how to use it. The other staff members seemed just as kind and knowledgeable. The overall three star rating reflects the sense of annoyance and irritation that Verizon stores share with new car dealerships. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting while surrounded by seductive merchandise. Listening to the spiel, nodding to speed up the explaining and setting up. Warranty insurance? Expensive case and screen protectors? Upgrade other devices? Your contract is extended for two years, of course. One hour after entry, I left with a new tablet. This is record time for getting out of a Verizon store. I like the Verizon service and products, but there is something about the stores that makes me want to run away. read more

After spending hours trying to solve an issue on Verizon's end, all I wanted was a different phone and to start over. The associate at the store agreed to let me get a new phone and credit the $35 restocking fee I had to incure on my next bill . He never credited the acccount. I called and spoke to him and he said it didn't go through but he would get it handled. He still never did. I contacted the general manager and she did not respond to my last text message. They had the opportunity to make up for their lack of service and dropped the ball again. Horrible service and no follow up. read more

Like Mark S, my father was tricked into going home with an LTE mobile hotspot he believed he was getting for free with the purchase of a new phone. He was not told, however, this 'free trinket' would incur a $10 monthly fee. Through many conversations with national and local support, we learned the device could only be cancelled in-person at the store at which it was purchased. I tried for a year, unsuccessfully, to cancel this never-activated and unused device remotely as I do not currently live in Nebraska. Upon finally being able to cancel the device in-store, we were hit with a $145 cancellation fee. The store manager promised to waive the cancellation fee, but only after it processed - another month, and another $10 fee later. read more

The guy was super nice at first and was happy we were loyal customers for 6 years. All of or contracts were up so we assumed we could all get the phones grab a case and then leave. We were all settled and ready to set up the phones, he had given us free cases, Chargers and whatever and then here came the catch. He tried to up our bill almost $100 for what seemed to be no apparent reason (because we were signing a new contract). Oh so were loyal customers and your going to charge us more money for waiting the 2 years for a new contract. Yeah well Verizon was the one who lost their time and $750 today. He didn't know that he had been paying for cell service for a tablet that he only uses on wifi. He doesn't travel due to health conditions and has no need of a cellular tablet. This was truly the WORST experience I have ever dealt with in terms of sales and customer service. I purchased a phone on line and had a confirmed price of 53.64. All I was supposed to do was pick up my phone at the store and have it activated. The manager Jake refused to honor the price saying it was a "glitch" in Verizon's system. He would only sell me the phone for 150. After spending countless hours on the phone I finally got an actual policy number from a rep that stated he should honor the price. He STILL refused. Not only has my time been wasted but I will be leaving Verizon in search of a better company with better customer service. This store should be closed down. My experience was that bad. Do not go here. I can't even give it 1 star. If I could give it less than one I would. read more

This store is full of idiots. They don't know how to answer a phone so you drive across the city to find out they are out of whatever you wanted. Then you get an explanation of "If we answered our phones, we wouldn't be able to help out the customers in the store" Answer your phone and you can save 1/2 of the people from wasting theirs and your time. Then I get" well that wont show up on your bill, there will be a credit, or there is no charge for that" only to find out there is a charge for everything, there is no credit, and I have to keep wasting my time coming into the GD store to talk to these morons to fix it. I went to Omaha for work, stayed there for a week. During the staying, I found my device bought at California doesn't work at all, so I brought it to a local Verizon store to have it fixed. The reps there and their manager were super nice, really cool and friendly people. They were very willing to offer you the help, and they make you feel comfortable, just like staying with your friends. Due to the inclement weather and the device issues, I spent quite a long time with them. One of their reps seemed to be very good at technical solutions, he was very focused and patient as well when you asked him to solve the tech issues. And he was also a very responsible and honest person And a girl salesperson was nice as well, and she worked very hard and always tried to help you. She was also a fun and cool person as well. Their manager seemed to be very patient, and not very talkative, but put things into control. He must be a very good leader also, cause he has so many good staff working for him here. He knows his staff very well in the store. And he was like the kind of person who does real stuff, instead of just talks. I went there to fix a jetpack because it doesn't support my needs at all with a 1 mgb uploading speed, the associates there actually introduced me all the services that I could boost up my internet speed, and tried all the solutions to fix the device. And during the same period, we had storm outside of the store, so all the customers were stuck at the store, but everyone looks chill since the whole atmosphere was good... And the inside settings were so cool, bright, fashion, and had all kinds of up-to-date products. I went to the At&t store after being with them since I had to fix signal problems on another account, but their store had almost nobody while it was still heavy raining outside. The supervisor and reps there aren't this friendly to their customers. (The California Verizon store where I bought my devices were the same, trying to find excuse for and not try to provide their helps at the beginning.) I actually don't remember if this was the one that I am rating for. But I remembered it was the one near wendy's, not far from Nebraska furniture mart, and there was a at&t store at the next shopping mall. Thanks to them, I had a very nice impression with the town and the locals. And what I want to say here is if you buying a service, definitely find someone who is trustworthy, like those I mentioned here. read more
