This verizon store is a joke! They need to re-train their staff on how to do customer service bc clearly their staff is clueless when it comes to it. You go in and try to buy a new phone, the employees tells you the sales tax is the actual price Went in 2 months ago and bought a basic phone for my mom. Sales guy tells us the phone we purchased, we would just pay $40.00. I asked if that was the price of the phone, sales guy tells me yes. No mention of it being a "sales tax". We thought, great, we got a deal! Bought the phone. 2 months later my mom wanted to get a better basic phone. Today we went in and found out we still had a balance of "$120.00" before we can even purchase a new phone. I was fucken heated. Told the sales lady what went down 2 months ago. She just batted her eyes and said, "you need a couple mins to think about it?" Wtf kind of services is that? I know I ain't entitle to get free shit frm this shitty store, but I'm entitled to know wtf I'm paying for. Don't lie to your customer just to get a damn sale. Its was only $100+ (actual price) for the phone so I dont know why you would lie to your customer! Best believe I called to make a complaint. I was in the store for 20 minutes without being acknowledge by a sales person. At that point some lady just walked up to someone standing behind me who entered the store after me to ask if they had been helped. A few more minutes passed and several employees, one of which looked like they might be a manager started making small talk with each other while I was just standing their waiting for help. I walked over to a Blackberry display, an employee finally came over... to start (I'm assuming) shutting down phones as it was starting to get close to closing time. He never even acknowledge me. Finally, I saw a sales rep walking so I stepped in front of him to ask him if there was a Verizon store in Stockton that was actually willing to help customers. Basically, I forced him to help me. While he was looking up my account information, I asked him about Windows Mobile phones. His response was cocky in nature, he basically said Verizon doesn't consider Windows Mobile to be a viable platform, and that Verizon doesn't have any near future plans for carrying any Windows Mobile phones because no one is making them. (Apparently he's never seen any of the Nokia Lumia phones. When he was finally done answering my questions, he gave me a shallow apology regarding not being helped. I gave him some general constructive criticism saying "You guys might want to work on that." He seemed to not like this and responded saying, "at least you got your information". So to sum up this store, they are lazy, unwilling to help, and rude. They exude the complacent attitude that has become commonplace at Verizon lately. They are lucky they are the only Verizon corporate store in the area. Unfortunately for them, Best Buy has Verizon reps, I believe I will be going there when I finally decide to pull the trigger on the iPhone 5. This store represents everything that is wrong with Verizon right now. The shareplans are bad enough. But the customer service makes me seriously think about taking my business down and across the street to Sprint or even over to AT&T. read more

My HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE refused to wake up last evening. I took it in today and Christian could not wake it up. I had bought it at Amazon Wireless for 1¢ (plus $40 CA sales tax) because the Verizon price was $50 at the time. Christian called Amazon Wireless and explained it all to them and I'll have a new phone by FedEx tomorrow, no questions asked, as long as it was not damaged or abused. It wasn't. I made a good choice by agreeing to the Total protection option at 9.91/month when I bought the phone. I usually don't buy extended or additional warranties, but for a $500 phone, it makes sense to me. Anyway, I thought the service was polite and competent and I like to going back to this store. She is an exceptional employee that Verizon should be thrilled to have as employee. I had a complex issue with a discount I was suppose to receive during my purchase. My new iPhone 11 was great until my camera screen went black. I take lots of videos and pictures, so I was in panic mode. I went to the Verizon wireless store at 5350 Pacific Ave by Starbucks. I was helped almost immediately. The young lady that helped me made several attempts to fix the black camera screen issue. She determined that I needed a new iPhone. She immediately ordered me a replacement phone with my 1 year warranty. I received the replacement phone 48 hours later, returned to the Verizon store and had all my pics and data transferred to the replacement phone as I waited. Great customer service! Problem solved and camera ready!! read more

I've been with Verizon for....about 13 years now and have always recommened them. That stops now. This has been my WORST year with them. I bought a $1000 Note 8 last January, come to find out another store sold for $700 that they conveniently didnt tell me. So I paid full price, ok that was that. BUT 8 months later the phone refuses to charge and it died, had to.get a replacement. 2nd Note 8, was working fine one minute then BANG just shut off and didn't turn back on. I lost EVERYTHING on that phone. 3rd replacement, again after about a week or so refused to charge and when i saw it declining i panicked and went to get it immediately replaced b4 i lost my documents again. Now, Im on my 4th Note 8 (3rd replacement, which btw none come with an S Pen so i had to buy that separatly from Amazon). But this phone jacks up my S Pen functions. Nothing I try to write looks right so I contacted Verizon and told them at this point I needed them to replace it to a Note9 because the Note8 just doesnt seem to be working for me. Which of course they refuse to do. I fought for it because they suggested an upgrade or new phone if i didnt want more Note8 replacemnts but they want ME to pay for it even though they're the ones giving me crappy phones! I went to Samsung which referred me back to Verizon, i went through TechCoach, Asurion etc etc. None of them want to do anything about it! They're not backing up their freaken product but have no problem charging me through the nose for their services. If they don't fix this issue by the end of the month, I'm through with Verizon, after 13 YRS! Yes, they have excellent reception but that doesn't mean they can justify charging half of plps paychecks for this kind of customer service. Its not like I have a history of demanding free upgrades and its not like I have asupper old phone. The Note9 is the only phone directly above the Note8! Which i just bought last yr! And they didnt last long, that is NOT MY FAULT. Verizon needs to fix this or they'll be losing 5 phone lines. My aunt is switching and i will follow suit if Verizon cant prove to me they actually care about their customers, so.far they're just showing they want more and more money. Each bill they add stuff to charge me for and when i call about it they do a good job of excusing their thievery in one way or another and i just took it. I'm done being Verizons door mat. We are a small business company who entrusted Verizon Business to service our office. That was worst thing we could have done. Where do we even start? So, we were sold a great package, so they say by a man named Jerry out of the March Lane storefront. He claimed to be the manager. We came from Comcast business which has always been good to us, but we were trying to get a lower monthly bill which is what we thought we were doing. All was good until we found out he first, gave us the wrong phones, and two Jerry ported the wrong number from Comcast and caused us to lose business due to our phone being down. We called the business customer service, and they were so unorganized as if Verizon Business was new. They finally figured out that the numbers were ported wrong and took 2 days to get our business back up and running correctly. After that issue we scheduled an appointment with Jerry, "the manager" to come to our office. He canceled the day of 15 minutes before the appointment, wasting our time. We then come to the office after the weekend was over to find our entire office shut down AGAIN. No phones, no cell phones, and no internet. We then call Verizon Business customer service again and were hung up on 6 times by 6 different reps. We were so frustrated we decided to go into the March Lane storefront where we met Mercedes the actual manager. She informed us that Jerry is not the manager, nor has he ever been the manager. She was going back and forth from him to us as if she didn't want to help us trying to get his story. She then called us up and was extremely rude. Merilyn took over and was able to help us. We left feeling like we should give Verizon Business another chance. We were feeling hopeful until we came back to the office and our business was shut down once again with a bill of $700 after only 13 days of service. We eventually cancelled their services and went back to our old reliable Comcast. Although they are more expensive, their customer service is so efficient and helpful. Returning their equipment was such a hassle. They didn't want us to return to the storefront, so they sent us on a wild goose hunt. I will never recommend Verizon Business to any client of our nor family and friends. It's a shame because the personal side of Verizon is amazing the business side just gives them a bad name. We are big in our community and have a huge following on social media. We want to make sure nobody goes through this again. They absolutely did not care about our small business being shut down due to their mistake. One of the WORST experiences we have ever had. I do not want to down talk on Verizon I'm only giving the experiences we had. Looking at the recent reviews we are not the only ones feeling this way! Verizon Business has to do better. read more

This review is for the new location in the parking lot with Best Buy next to Starbucks. The manager there Andres is extremely rude . No customer service training. I tried to purchase two phones and a iPad I could not buy because the store is so new there was no way to do store pick up. They want to charge me $40 extra to buy in store. They wouldn't help me with the situation . The manager didn't care that he was loosing business just shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal. We have been customers for 17 years. Yes 17. If your a manager in a public place interacting with customers maybe you should smile and at least pretend to care about customers. If you have no people skills this is not the job for you. Customer service issues on replacing a broken part on a Mophie case, spoke with manager who denied my claim. Spoke with Verizon corporate who sent me the Mophie warranty, which said "30 days, no questions asked." Their policy is absolute, in 30 days the store should exchange. I spoke with Mophie rep who said the same thing. The management at this store will lie right in your face if they don't know the answer, just to win an argument. Filed complaint with corporate against the manager on 9/3/18 3pm, had no issue with other reps in store, but this guy's response was "hey it protected your phone" we aren't replacing it. My son and I visited this Verizon on May 28, 2019, to upgrade his phone as a Graduation present. We got there at approximately 6:30 pm. I knew they closed at 7 so I asked if it was to late to do an upgrade. A female staff member told me I was good to go and took my number and told me someone would be right with me. My son and I stood in the middle of the store for 45 min waiting to be helped. No one even acknowledged that we we there...We finally left. I've been a customer for almost 28 years back when the name was Airtouch Wireless! The customer service in this store is horrible..this used to be my favorite store. No staff, manager or supervisor even bothered to acknowledge us standing in the store for 45 min.This was rude and discourteous . I will no longer give any of my business to this store, nor will I refer anyone there. Whoever is the supervisor/manager of this store is doing a terrible job! The customer service at this location is terrible! I came in to this store because I was having issues taking advantage of Verizon's BuyOut promotion. The online system had rejected my final bill from T-Mobile saying that it was missing the required information. I took my final bill into this location to rectify the situation. Long story short, the manager here, Marissa, refused to accept my final bill because it did not have the exact language she wanted, even though all of the necessary information was there. Instead of helping me to resolve the issue, she sent me back and forth to the T-Mobile store, then made me call customer service. The customer service rep agreed that she was being unreasonably difficult. He was actually able to figure out that there was a system error and the online system made a mistake in rejecting my final bill. Had the manager taken the time to look in to this matter, she would have figured that out. She refused to even look into it! She was condescending and completely unhelpful. I am currently waiting for a call from the district manager to express my concerns as this lack of effective customer care does not live up to the Verizon standard of delivering superior customer experiences. read more

Terrible customer service. 90 percent of my experiences here include unprofessional behavior , dishonesty, and in most cases, rude. It's in a convenient location because it's closer to my home than the Trinity park location. But the service between the two is as different as night and day. From this point on I'll be traveling extra miles to the Trinity park location because based on my experience they are much friendlier, much more professional, and helpful. The last straw for me was when I had to replace the recalled Note 7 and the annoyed rep actually complained to me that this was an inconvenience for them. While I am happy with my verizon wireless service, I was left with 2 unpleasant visits to this corporate store. On my first visit, much like the reviewer Jeff, I to was left ungreeted for approx 15 minutes, while one employee chit-chatted with another (only to look up at me, then away from me). Only when 2 other customers walked in did the employees actually become attentive to me and the now 3 others that were waiting. It became clear to me since I was there trouble shooting my new phone and not buying a new one, that I was not a high priority. Shortly there after I was passed off from one employee to the next (who was the first one that was chit-chatting) in regards to my tethering questions, to have the employee walk to a tablet on display, load the vzw website (clicked on several links for tablets... but nothing related to my question), then proceed to tell me that what I was asking was not possible with my phone. After spending 35 minutes in this store, I got a "go away" answer. I returned home and called the 800 customer service number who in under 15 minutes was able to answer my questions and set up my tethering (which the employee here said was not possible). Fast forward 2 months, and additional troubleshooting my phone (HTC ...bleh) the 800 # customer service rep told my to get a replacement sim card as they were showing issues with my phone connecting to vz network. I was not able to get into the store for another week, which happened to coincide with the 4g lte outage. The employee's first response was "you don't need one, our network is out"... I re-worded my request saying I had been working w/tech support, who instructed me a week ago to get a new one, and I was only able to get in now... she still refused, and told me "look at all of our phones, no-one has connection now"... so then I stated "unless my phone sim card time traveled into the future and stopped working, I need a new one" ... her response "whatever, it still won't work". So after 3 attempts to get a new sim card, I left the building, called the 800 number and got it 2 days later. Finally, I composed a written letter to the store manager highlighting the above issues with his staff members. I guess he was just too busy to compose a reply, or email, or text, or a call to customer. read more

First off, this is the first review I've ever made. But I feel like with the awesome experience, it's due. Our representative Veronica, "Figgy" is what her coworkers call her, gave us the most amazing experience I've ever had. She helped us trade from sprint to Verizon with absolutely no hassle. Somehow she got to trade in a messed up, broken glass Galaxy S6 and an iPhone 6 for 2 S7 Edges for practically free. Her attitude was positive an welcoming. Veronica was so polite and very easy to talk to and connect with. She made a process that seemed hard for us, very easy like it was no big deal. Also, she gave my boyfriend and I her personal phone number to contact her for any questions we might have about our new phones. I can't not tell you guys enough how amazing her service is. She also called us the next day to tell us that we got qualified to receive a free smart tv. I mean, usually people wouldn't go the extra mile and call you anyways. My boyfriend and I are very impressed with Veronica and this store. Excellent service. Seriously you guys, go to her. We'll be coming to this store for now on. read more

Honestly have always had issues with staff not being friendly in the past but this was a whole other issue. From the second my husband and I walked in one particular staff member (Sharelle) was getting flirty with him. She was being very over the top and making us feel extremely uncomfortable. She also mentioned giving my husband her PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER on a receipt before which I think is extremely unprofessional. Not only that but we asked for an emailed receipt this time and she still went out of her way TO PRINT a receipt and write her number on it AGAIN. Definitely not okay. We will not be coming back. I ordered my iPhone and iPad on thanksgiving. First I get an email saying it will be ready in 3 days and then another one saying in 2 days for pick up. I am currently out of town for work and bought my purchase with my credit card. Other account managers were in town only problem is I have the card. So I called the number listed to the store on Friday and waited 20 minutes for a representative that gave me instructions that any account manager could pick it up and to provide my credit card through the phone for them to input. So Saturday morning, the other account manager, my mother, goes but is denied even though it was a Verizon representative that recommended this to me from Friday. If you tell me if something is possible, then it should be. Being given wrong information is very frustrating. My mother had me on the phone and I asked to speak with someone from the store, my mother gave the phone to the representative who was speaking in an angry tone stating it would have to be me today, if not it would be canceled and that the Verizon representative on Friday lied. I asked to speak to a manager but the phone was quickly given back to my mother. I was not even given a chance to ask if it was still able to be picked up the next day as I was still within the 3 day limit. My mother left very frustrated even before I could tell her to ask for a manager because she should not have to feel or be treated that way. So I called the store number and waited about 10-20 minutes to get on the phone with a manager who was very pleasant and understanding and was willing to help. This is the kind of person that needs to be contacted when issues arise, not someone who is stern and stubborn. If the representative felt like he could not handle it with a level head then he should've gotten the manager and helped the customer instead of being rude and acting like that was the only answer that could be given. I really hope I am still able to get my items as the manager told me the email is probably a mistake and I wish this did not happen because I've been going to this store for years with no issue until now. This could've easily been fixed if this employee just would have just listened to my dilemma so I would've had the chance to ask about the 3 or 2 day pick up instead of sternly answering and leaving it at that. I've worked retail and the guy representative handled this situation very poorly. I hope there is more training because it looks like this has been an issue for years. I know holidays are hard but don't make your job harder than it should be. I do not know the representative's name and even if I did I would not post it but they know who they are and I hope that you work on your service as it reflects the whole company not just you. read more

Went to Verizon off 8 Mile where they sent me to Verizon off Pacific because that store could help me with absolutely NOTHING!!! I was helped by Christian Diaz at the Pacific Verizon store, he was great. He set me up with verizon support on the phone with issues the store could not resolve. After everything was squared away he helped me pick out a new smart phone, case and phone accessories. Even better I was out the door in less then a hour! Highly recommend this store. read more
