Went in yesterday to get both my parents new iPhones. The person that helped us, Julian, was extremely helpful and fast with the process. He went above and beyond with my parents and make sure that we had the best deals possible. He was able to answer our questions as we were going through the update process. He even gave me tips on how to activate the phone once we got home. Really happy with Julian's service with us yesterday!! We were in and out of the store in 35 minutes or so. read more

Verizon customer service could not be any more useless. See photo attached of part of this ridiculousness!! I have confirmed autopay set emails from Verizon. I can see in my account app that Autopay is set up and ready to use. Yet my payment on 5/11 failed and they want to charge me a $25 return of payment fee. So I contact their CSR via chat bc you can't get anyone on a phone and with long delays between responses all they can say is "there is no bank information in the account". Yet I'm looking at confirmations from Verizon and in my account on the Verizon app I can see the bank information right there!!! The CSR cannot explain why there is no bank information and simple says "check with your bank" and "try another payment method" with absolutely no concern from them over the fact that Verizon confirmed Autopay is set up and shows the bank information in my account!! The issue is not my bank and yet they want me to do all the work to figure out the issue and charge me $26 without knowing why?!?!?! read more

This is the worst Verizon store. The worst customer service possible. The representatives are rude and don't know anything about the service lines. Everyone there is ignorant and rude. Don't go to this location. The manager needs to be terminated and replaced. I came into the store to look into changing my plan since my current plan did not have enough internet. The manager initially came up to me to help me and I explained the issues I had with my account. He told me to hold on while he reviewed my account but went to talk to the security guard. He stood with the security guard for about 15minutes and then sent another representative to help me. The representative that was sent over to help me ignored me while I was re-explaining my situation and cut me off to tell me he was going to send me a code and that I didn't need to tell him my experience, that he would look at my account and get "the truth". I went in to upgrade my phone, the phone was on back order it was going to take a month for me to get it. I still decided to get it, the girl helping me didn't know what she was doing, she then asked another team member for help and proceeded to process the order. Two weeks after I check the tracking and somehow my order didn't go thru. I called customer support and they didn't have a clue as to what happened. I proceeded to cancel my order it was too much of a hassle. I come back trying to upgrade my whole family about another month after and when I checked my receipt the girl that helped me this time gave me the wrong plan, my payments were going to be super high, I drove back to the store to tell them and they said they couldn't do anything about it and I had to wait until I received the phones. I asked her if I could have something in writing to make sure they were going to make the changes that I had agreed to and she didn't want to give me anything. I had the worst experience here and I do not recommend this store to anyone. I got helped by Allan and he charged me double for stuff he wasn't supposed to. He was very dishonest and when told about the other charges his refunds were lower that what it was supposed to be. Virri the supervisor on duty did not help she just ignored the situation and when I addressed her she was rude. I asked for my money back on everything and they said it was going to take 3 days. Also, note that the store on alameda is a reseller,a lot of people don't know but I was educated and found that their policies are different than a corporate store. Alfonso was working at the Montebello location and was incredibly helpful in assisting my mom and brother with an issue. Verizon customer service made a simple change request into a disaster of a mess. Alfonso overheard the hour and half conversation and stepped in to resolve the issue. Unfortunately the mess Verizon customer service created continued to another month. Alfonso was no longer at the Montebello location but I was able to reach him and he again took the time to resolve the mess CREATED by customer service. I came in with my wife to open service and the general manager signed me up to the waiting list. He helped to figure out the best and cheapest deal so that I wouldn't pay so much out if pocket. He helped transfer my info and was very patient explaining everything thoroughly and answering my questions and concerns. Everytime I go there they are never able to help me. I honestly don't know how this store remains open. The only reason I decided to write this review is because I am officially never going here again. My advice go to a different location. if you ever have a bad experience call VZW directly place a formal complaint to be sure it's looked into, the manager might just sweep it under the rug. I called in advance to make sure they had the blue Note 7 in stock because mine has been recalled and the person who answered said yes not to worry they have many in stock they won't run out in 10 min while I get there. I drive over right away which is during my hour lunch break , I wait 40 min in line and they tell me that I am only eligible for a $25 credit for accessories and that they can't apply the credit to my billing account. I tell the rep VZW and Samsung both told me it's one of my options and he said he hasn't been informed about this and that only customer service will be able to do it if they told me that. This is a credit that Samsung and VZW have agreed to give to customers who purchased a recalled Note 7 due to the inconvenience of having to return the phone. Sounds like the employees are not informing and allowing the customers to apply the credit to their bill just so they can be forced to buy accessories in their store to increase their sales. This is completely unacceptable and unethical, I am glad that I had contacted both Samsung and VZW customer service prior to my visit otherwise I would have been one of their victims. The real reason I am writing this review is because after 40 min of waiting and being misinformed about the $25 credit the rep tells me they don't have the blue color. When I got there there were only 3 reps all helping someone already and 1 person before me. There is no way they took the blue phones I was told were in stock. He confirms that the phone number I dialed is the one to their location. He offers to call other stores at least but I definitely did not trust them at this point and I had to return to work. I don't appreciate them trying to take advantage. I did not speak to the manager because I'm sure he/she would stand by their employees and might not take my complaint serious. This location is the closest to home. I recently visited this location twice in the last week. I took advantage of a phone promotion for my father and fiance. Everyone is very friendly, greeted us in the few minutes we entered the store. The customer representative who assisted us was Raul. He was very patient in answering all of our questions and made sure we understood everything regarding our phone and speaker purchases, as well as questions regarding our bill. He is very personable and makes himself available, just a text or phone call away, if I have any further questions regarding my purchase that took place a week ago. I wanted the deal but there were no white ones in stock so the Huntington Park store transferred one from their inventory so that I could buy it in Huntington Beach and pick it up in Huntington Park. I received exemplary customer service this morning from Solutions Specialist Juan! I went in to purchase a new phone and about 45 minutes later I left with the phone I wanted and with a monthly payment that was within my budget. He was patient with all of my questions and concerns. I'm very happy I decided to come to this store as opposed to going somewhere else or buying the phone from the Verizon Wireless website. I went to this Verizon on 10/9/18 to get a mobile hotspot. I was helped by the sales associate Diego. He told me the unlimited data for mobile hotspot capped at around 90gb for $100 a month. He asked for my social security number. I gave it to them then without my knowledge they made a hard pull on my credit score. I asked Diego what was up with that and he informed me that it was a soft pull. Which I later come to find that it read as a hard inquiry on my credit report!!!!!! He blatantly lied about the credit pull and didn't even ask to pull my credit prior to doing so!!!!!!! And on top of that I looked at my plan and the monthly billing was $80 a month and when I asked him after paying for the set up he said they changed it and the data is 75gb before it slows every month. He never informed me of any of this prior to checking my credit, signing me up and charging my card. This is completely underhanded shady behavior!!!!!!! Update: 2 days later when I found out Verizon did a hard inquiry on my account I called Verizon's phone number. They informed me the credit check is always a hard pull and my plan for unlimited data was capped at 15gb not 75gb, as I was told by Diego when I questioned him after being charged!!!!! He lied to me twice about the service I was paying for!!!!!! I came back to the store and spoke with a manager. The manager just told me I should have known what services/packages they offered and he questioned why I left the store unconfidently. First off, I did ask several questions before making my purchase and that I even followed up with Diego after he rung me up, as I was charged for different amount than what he initially told me. He told me a straight up answer which was completely false and I just believed him at the time when I left the store. And secondly, it's not the customers responsibility to know the products/services in advance but rather the employees responsibility to inform customers about the goods and services offered!!! Rude customer service, incompetent employees....The customer rep that helped my husband and I misspelt my email, even after I specifically told her how to spell it, she still managed to get it wrong!! Due to this, I had to call- which is a whole other story- Verizon customer service and they had me talking to 5 different people for 4 Hours straight! They gave me so many different answers until the last person I spoke to finally told me what I had to do. after this nonsense, I had to go through another stressful situation which required me to fax documentation because of "suspected fraud".... to make a long and frustrating story short , that little error, that supposedly couldn't get fixed IN STORE AND HAD TO BE OVER THE PHONE pushed back the delivery of my devices 2 weeks back. They Had to cancel my original order and make another order! zero stars to Verizon's customer service! the people in charge should really, and I mean really, retrain or fire a majority of their employees, ( Some of them are actually nice and reasonable... but that's like a 50/50 most of the time when lucky) because it's ridiculous on how much stress and time consuming holds they put a customer through! read more
