Vernon Urgent Care might be the worst doctor's office I've ever been to. I was made to wait three hours by the upsettingly disorganized staff for a simple physical. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. read more

Very disappointing. Staff is unpleasant, slow, and lacking empathy even for children. After waiting even no one else was in the waiting room, I was told "we don't bill like an ER or an urgent care, we Bill as an outpatient service so you will have to pay the whole amount if you haven't met your deductible." How can an urgent care not bill like an urgent care. Suffice to say, big step down following the merge with Atlantic Health. read more

First patient of the day and the receptionist was already visibly ticked off by something. She was unpleasant from the moment we walked in. Every communication with her was ice cold and she just seemed unhappy to be there, interacting with patients... to call a patient in she just said, "Come on," as if calling a patient back into a room was a pain for her and we were irritating her by being there. Generally, people don't want to be at the doctor's in the first place... why go out of your way to make their experience even less pleasant? When asked why the bill for the visit was so high she responded, "Talk to the doctor. I just do what they tell me to do." Wow! Would have given one star but the wait time wasn't terrible and the doctor did help... although again, it was the first visit of the day so that's not saying much. read more

The "Office Manager" had rude phone mannors at this location wanted to be the end all be all, yet knew nothing at all. I guess what Places like Vernon Urgent dosent seem to realize is when you put stafflike this as part of your company they are representing your name in the market place, and my educated hunch on this is they DON'T get that. This lady was smug enough to not refer anyone to it's location. read more

Receptionist was pleasant and professional. Dr Patel was extremely nice and professional. Nurse was just "ok', not particularly friendly or personable. Atmosphere on the whole was professional. Wait was long but to be expected in an urgent care. Its where you go if you can't get to your own doctor and not an emergent situation. read more

Don't know what these bad reviews are all about-Dropped in with my son for a Sports Physical. We were greeted very nicely by the office staff, filled out insurance info,etc. and were seen right away by a nurse who took his vitals and directly thereafter, by the physician on duty. Each step of the process was quick,professional, and very pleasant. We were in and out within 35-40 minutes. Two thumbs up and 5 stars to the facility and staff! read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL The worst medical care I ever received. If you are sick DO NOT go there. I have to be really sick to go to the doctors. People go to the doctor because they want to get better. I was not given medication and my condition got worse and the next day found a real medical facility that took care of me and gave me REAL Medical treatment. Terrible!!! My daughter went there with tonsils so swollen she couldn't swallow. She tested negative for strep so they did nothing and told her it was a virus and would be gone in 3-5 days. It didn't go away and got worse and she called them and they didn't care. She went to her primary physician and the doctor was livid at urgent care as she had an extreme case of tonsillitis. Vernon Urgent Care should be renamed to sit and wait until you can't take it anymore or at least until your condition gets better on its own. I have now been there two different days and times and there is nothing fast or urgent about this facility. I once came in for an eye infection and they didn't even have any eye wash to relieve my suffering. I was given a script for prescription. So basically I waited for over an hour and then had to go and wait for another hour to get the prescription. I walked out the same way I walked in without any relief. Every time I've been there there never seems to be any real activity going on. I actually think you would be better off going to the ER. The only bright side is that you can see a doctor on a weekend but bring a book. read more
