3/3/23 was mine and my husbands 10 year anniversary! We had honeymooned in Savannah and had always lightly talked about going back for our 10 year. Well it turned out that's what we decided and were able to do. While I was planning the trip I stumbled on Josael and Versaguis Photography on Air B&B's experiences tab and was like, IMMEDIATE YES! I was so excited about the idea of anniversary pictures to celebrate, but also destination photos in Savannah. It was too cool to be able to 1) get to go back to Savannah, 2) make memories again and capture a special anniversary day in pictures. Josael was fantabulous! Incredibly friendly, professional, and experienced. He was already there waiting on us, and even ran a few minutes over for us. My husband and I both loved his personality during the shoot, he new just the right things to say to keep the energy up and conversation going but also how to help us relax and have fun. The few pictures we got to see through the lens were AWESOME! I absolutely cannot wait to see the final pictures! A couple helpful notes if you book a session: 1) GET THERE EARLY FOR PARKING. I kept telling myself that but could not get myself together on time. We barely found a spot in the nick of time. So think about day of the week and time of day for parking for your shoot-3:30 on a Friday afternoon is slim pickings' on parking. 2) STRETCH or get a massage lol! Amazing experience during our elopement photo shoot with Josael! He took the time to ask a few things about us before our shoot, which made it feel much more personal. He was SO friendly and kind, and right off the bat it seemed like we had already known him forever. It can definitely be awkward when you take photos, especially with someone new, but Josael made us feel so comfortable, helped direct our poses, and made us laugh & smile throughout the whole shoot. He made it so easy! He found beautiful spots throughout the park to take photos, and our final shots turned out amazing! The backgrounds in every single shot are beautiful and varied, & we have a mix of romantic, fun/silly, and what I call 'magazine' shots that are stunning. Josael is super talented and personable - it was like hanging out with a friend! Josael was amazing! We have not gotten pictures back yet (our shoot was only a few days ago) but the couple of peeks he let us sneak on his camera were enough to get us SUPER excited for the result! My sister found Josael online and booked him as a surprise for our babymoon so we could have some maternity photos before the baby arrives! Josael was fantastic with his direction-we're pretty inexperienced with photo shoots and being in front of the camera but he knew exactly what he was doing-how to pose my belly, what to do with our hands, how to position ourselves and such-which was super helpful. My husband and I got our pictures done by Josael in Forsyth park back in early March for my birthday and he was absolutely amazing to work with! He was so genuine and gave us a memorable experience and beautiful photos to celebrate my milestone birthday! Our photoshoot tour was absolutely amazing!! I would not recommend anyone else to take pictures with. We started on the beach and were given prompts of what to do. That was the best, coming from a couple who had never had professional photos done before that was 10/10 because we didn't know what to do. Our photographer made it personalized as well as made it a point to get to know my partner and I. My boyfriend hadn't had contact with any of them because I set it up and he planned to propose. He flashed the ring to the photographer and within seconds she had us set up so he could do it. Overall they are the best people to having pictures done with!!! read more

So grateful that I found Josael to take our pics while we were in town for my friend to run a half marathon. I was excited to have Forsyth Park as our backdrop. Josael had great ideas for poses, took us to several areas around the park. There was a storm looming, but he was excellent at communicating with us prior to the shoot and we eventually decided to change the time of the session a bit. He has an infectious personality which made us feel like we were old friends and made the session so much fun! Josael hosted the most amazing photography session for us. Neither of us are big picture takers, and this was our first time getting professional photography done together. I stumbled upon Versagius Photo & Video after booking an Air BnB stay, and booked as a part of my mother's 65th Birthday trip in Savannah, GA. What an absolutely amazing day!! Josael was awesome!! Our photoshoot experience with Josael was a blast overall, and such a perfect way to capture some amazing memories while exploring a beautiful part of Savannah on our babymoon trip. This was one of the best if not the best photographer I've been around. That consist of weddings & birthdays etc.. we did a maternity shoot at Wormsloe. The staff at the site were being sticklers this particular day. I guess because of the GA game was on & stated they couldn't watch it I kind of understood. Josael and his humor made it better while the mommy to be started to get agitated. Outside of the staff's attitude that day the shoot was a five star experience. We had such an amazing experience walking through Savannah with Josael and taking photos! He's extremely warm and welcoming, making what could be an awkward experience for people who don't like being photographed very easy to let their guard down, loosen up and have fun. And his direction on posing was exceptional. I'm so eager to see the finished edits because the few sneak peaks I was shown straight out of camera blew me away. Josael is an amazing photographer. He is very professional and did everything in his power to help me execute the perfect proposal. My fiancée, my college sweetheart, had no idea what I had planned. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Mr. Josael but he sent Eduardo to do our photos and he was nothing short of amazing!! Absolutely loved working with Josael! He was so accommodating - even switching days/times to get the best weather for our baby announcement shoot!
