I was referred to Excel Window Tinting & Car Wraps by a friend when I was starting a new business. Money was tight, so I was looking for a fair deal. After we agreed on a design for my truck wrap, I was told it would be completed quickly. Instead, it took about three weeks before I got my truck back. At first, the wrap looked fantastic. Unfortunately, that didn't last. Within just a few weeks, parts of the wrap started peeling. I reached out multiple times and received little to no response. When my business didn't work out, I asked about having the already-peeling wrap removed. Even though it was failing, I was told it would cost me another $500 to remove it. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the final price was significantly higher than the original quote I had agreed to. That was a difficult surprise, especially since I was already on a tight budget. Fast forward three years: this truck has only been driven about 8,000 miles, yet the wrap is badly discolored and peeling in multiple areas. I specifically remember being told there was a five-year warranty, which gave me confidence in the purchase. I finally gave up one of my days off and drove back to the shop hoping to resolve the issue. The experience was incredibly disappointing. The owner seemed more interested in being on the phone than helping. At first, they actually suggested the peeling was a paint problem. I had to remind them, "You wrapped this truck." Only then did they acknowledge it. After that, there was no meaningful follow-up. I was told they didn't know who I was, couldn't locate my information, and that I needed to find my paperwork. I was then told the warranty was only one year, which completely contradicted what I remember being told when I purchased the wrap. From my perspective, I was misled about: The completion timeline. The final price. The warranty coverage. The level of customer service after the sale. And according to their records, I apparently don't even exist as a customer. I paid roughly $4,000 for what I believed would be a professionally installed wrap backed by a long-term warranty. If I had known it only carried a one-year warranty and would be peeling and fading after only 8,000 miles, I never would have spent that kind of money. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Excel Window Tinting & Car Wraps. I would encourage anyone considering a vehicle wrap to ask for every promise in writing--including pricing, warranty terms, and completion dates--before committing.

Retint or guarantee simply will not make it right. Damage to my rear sliding window defroster was caused by this business as my truck had factory windows on it when it was taken to them. My forward center console usb ports stopped working immediately after the detail as well. They were working fine on the way to them the morning they tinted and detailed it because i had my cell plugged in to it. They will promise to make it right but that will never change the quality of workmanship. You will get told lies about window trim not allowing total coverage but as you will see by my uploads that is a complete lie. Think Used car Salesman when you are reading reviews about customer service. Visible contamination under 7 windows of tint, jagged and poor or oversized cuts on all window edges. Stay away if you are traveling from more than just a mile down the road. I went to 2 different tint placed and had it looked at. Both of them immediately found everything shown in these images. Contamination under the tint, jagged, over cuts, surface damage, and poor edge detail is present in all of these. In many of them there is multiple combinations of these mentioned. I ask all customers to use a flashlight to check your tint. If it looks ANYTHING like this it's wrong and should be redone. If it feels gritty like EVERY one of my windows it's wrong and needs to be redone. The owner stood 10 feet from my truck and absolutely refused to look at the inside of the window. ***Please NOTE these pictures were taken by the shop I chose to redo ALL of the tint. They were taken prior to performing ANY work.

They put a blame on their customer fault, it's damaged before hand. When we pickup our car the window is already tinted and they stated our rear mirror is damaged, it's completed melted. How can that happen, only one assumption that they use some high heated tool accident cause the damaged in that area, but NO, they blame their customer that parked the car outside that and the damaged cause by the sun. We request to see the camera of all the activities before and after when they start the service for our vehicle, but just BS excuses. I've read many bad reviews for this business owner for the same reason, but like usual they just attack their customer with the blame, but not come up with a solution or admit their mistakes. I would not recom this place. You see lots of good reviews for this business as well just because those came from customer that's not in the same situation with customers that has their vehicle damage by this business.
