I have had multiple problems with you provider's. Ms.Pierce has multiple times canceled on me and thirty minutes to a hour before the appointment. One time she canceled the morning of the appointment didn't send me a text and didn't have front desk call me. I sat on the telehealth zoom for thirty minutes past my appointment wondering when it would start I had to call the front desk, they very rudely said that they called me when they did not. The next problems I have is with Ms.Wayman. multiple times she has not filled my prescriptions on time. I went through withdrawals I called, texted, and sent a portal message and she still didn't refill on time. With the medications I'm on, this is very dangerous. She has done this the whole time I've seen her and I started seeing her in February. I have grown frustrated and angry with the whole establishment. I do not recommend going here. I will be canceling my future appointments. read more

The worst clinic in the world!! If anyone has concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to me personally. When I first started here the receptionist gave my insurance cards to another patient. I waited for well over a week to get them back and never did. The other person said she would bring them back, and than she never did. So now she has my info and I pray that she cut them up. I reached out to the owners, they acted like it was no big deal. After seeing my provider (which is the only reason I stayed) for 2 months, my insurance company told me she was not in network. When I made the initial call, the receptionist confirmed I was in network. The owner, Aaron, said she was and that he would reach out to them. After several months of asking him to figure this out, he finally came back and said that she is NOT in network and he would take care of all the bills. Aaron also said he would charge a certain amount going forward. He hasn't. He LIED! Check with your insurance company on your own. At all times. You will regret it, if you don't. Aaron will tell you all lies, telling you that they will handle it. In the end, he did NOT! My daughter had an emergency appointment with my provider back in March of this year. (2022) I gave them all the insurance info at the time. In September I reached out to them to see why her final bill wasn't resolved and they said they were still working on it. Are you kidding me? This practice is extremely sketchy and I would highly suggest you keep all of your statements and any documentation they give you. Another instance was when I first started seeing my provider, the owners had a fairly sized dog that would come into the office. One time it growled at me. Luckily, my provider came and got me at the same time. There were several patients that were extremely uncomfortable with this! Not to mention, what if there was a patient with PTSD from dogs. There were no posters stating that there is a dog roaming the building. NONE!! I am a huge dog lover, don't get me wrong. But this was not a service dog, it was a family pet. This is a mental health facility, the least they could do is state there is a roaming dog on the floor. This dog legit roamed the floor. I overheard the receptionist's complaining that they would have to take the dog out to go potty. Seriously?!? I wonder if that was in their job description?! If not, you might want to look into that! I Yes I usually don't write anything on these but I felt a need to put a good review on here. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD. Sorry, I don't have condition and do not know how to help her. I must say, very efficiently, she diagnosed it right away for my daughter.....gave exactly what medications are needed. She did not ask her 10,000 questions. She is also very quick with refills and getting those out to my daughter Overall, my daughter likes her very much and I just wanted to include a good review here for *Julie* thank you..........and this website. read more

I've been a patient at Verve for roughly 9 years now I believe. At over 40 years old I have spent the majority of my life attempting to find a caring and helpful therapist, somewhere where I was listened to, and I finally found that with the staff at Verve. I don't know the rules of saying names and all that in a review so I will leave my therapist's name out. Since day one she have been my biggest supporter. Things started off so well that I assumed there was a catch. Over time though I came to realize it wasn't some act and there are actually people out there that take this seriously. One of the very early interactions with her I vividly recall her looking to reduce medications if safe and possible. Not sure I've come across a doctor that didn't jump to pushing more pills. She listens to my opinions then discusses options and we agree on a plan. Her (and all the staff I've dealt with) communication and follow up always prompt. I know I've had some bad episodes and there was always someone at the office to help. One other huge thing I want to call out quick....These people practice what the preach. My therapist preaches over and over about self care and not burning out and stepping away can be a good thing. I witnessed her actually take time for herself and allow her "cup to fill up" if you will. I think that's why these people are so great. They are people. People that don't want a ton of pills to take. People that have lives and aren't perfect. I don't know....I've been to too many rich kids with a fancy degree and zero tough times in their life so it's been refreshing to have real people on my side. read more

The most unprofessional and questionable scheduling system. This office does not pick up the phone but texts a patient. A very extensive new patient paperwork is required via a link, even requiring payment method. Our initial appointment was finally scheduled just to be contacted via a text to reschedule. We rescheduled to the proposed time just to be told, one hour prior to appointment, that that is not the rescheduled time they put us in. Thank God it is all in writing. Frustrated and time off work taken unnecessarily. Very poor scheduling. No trust in the business. Will never attempt to reschedule. Feel bad for practitioners as they will lose business due to poor scheduling practices. read more

I suffered an intense and traumatic mental health crisis as a direct result of the difficulties I had trying to communicate with Verve's office staff and my prospective therapist. People seek therapy because they feel alone and unheard. Sometimes, they have no safety nets. If such a person seeks help from Verve in the future and has an experience similar to mine, they might end up hurting themselves or others. Setting aside my personal feelings towards the clinic, I am genuinely concerned that they aren't capable of handling the responsibilities that come with treating the mentally ill or otherwise vulnerable. I called their office in the middle of the afternoon and got an answering machine, but I noted they could text on their office phone. They answered my texts, provided me with a list of therapists who accepted my insurance with next-day availability and invited me to look at their pages on the office's website to make my decision. Of the three choices, only two had complete profiles. I selected one and was told she only did telehealth sessions. I responded that I preferred in-person as I had no privacy at home. I was later to learn that Verve offers private rooms for telehealth sessions, a fact which the front desk either didn't know or didn't see fit to share. My only option was the therapist without a profile. I was told to expect the new patient forms in twenty minutes. An hour and a half later, I still had not received any forms, and I reached out again. The office assistant responded that she had just "resent" them. I filled out all the forms, but at the end I could not click on the "Request Appointment" button. I was never informed what time the appointment was at - the information was only found on the intake form email, which I naturally skipped over to click the link and begin the paperwork. I had to wait until the next day to call the office again and confirm the time of my appointment, unaware that I had slept through it on accident. I spoke to a different person and expressed my frustration with the previous day's events. I asked for the time of my appointment, and added that the therapist's website profile was blank. It turned out she actually did not have any openings that day, there had been a "miscommunication in the office" and I would actually have to see a different therapist at 5:00 PM that day. I consented, filled out the forms again, and downloaded the app. Unfortunately, a personal phone call ran long. I arrived at 5:10 PM at what I thought was the office and sat in a chair in the waiting area. I immediately messaged Ms. Pierce that I had arrived and asked for instructions on where to find my room. Her responses read as if she were an automated ChatBot offering me customer service on a defective printer, not a mental health professional trying to break through two days of oblique communication and establish a professional and compassionate image for the first time: "It seems like the office staff has left for the day. Sorry for the inconvenience." "I am trying to find a solution." "I am sorry for the issues you have faced. It is not our intent." I had also texted the main office number, distressed at the fact that the office was empty. I was helpfully told by another office assistant, "It's a telehealth session." I felt mocked and insulted. At 5:17 PM, I received a call from the front desk. She tried to direct me to the correct office door - it was obvious she was not in the building. I described my surroundings to her, and she sounded puzzled and unsure of what to say. The session was apparently a bust, as she suggested I reschedule. It pushed me over the edge, and I hung up on her. I returned to my car, shaking with anger. The Office Manager called at 5:26 PM, asking me if I had any "trouble with the office." I couldn't take it anymore and I became uncontrollably emotional. I have never felt such negative emotions in such intensity. I felt as if I had followed all the directions society had given me to seek help. These were supposed to be the people who would help me see that I wasn't alone, or unimportant. I felt like to them, I was a client; someone who might as well be coming in to redesign my living room. I reached out to Verve Collaborative Health for help, and they made it worse. Perhaps I'm overly pessimistic, but I imagine a lot more Omahans are going to find themselves in these unprecedented moments of significant mental and emotional crises over the coming years. The stakes for these situations are extremely high, and I earnestly believe that Verve Collaborative Health's staff are not prepared to handle them. Mental health is not a game. It is not a field that should tolerate the dispassionate or disorganized. read more

Verve does billing for various independent providers utilizing their facility as an office space. As the client of one of those providers, I have had several issues with Verve. I provided my insurance information to them numerous times and after five months of going there, they asked for it again. They have charged me a miscellaneous fee each time with no explanation of the charges or itemization of what the fee is for...my insurance told me not to pay it. The balance that they said I owed at one point was like over 13,000 dollars even though I was covered by insurance. This balance mysteriously dropped and changed after inquiries made by my provider but the miscellaneous charges continue to be presented to my insurance company. Their collection tactics consist of almost daily messages with threatening undertones. They also require a copy of a credit or debit card before you can register in their system and will automatically debit your card when you try to sign in for your appointment. If you register for an appointment, there is no way to bypass this debit unless there is someone at the desk to bypass it for you. Finally, they did not submit any claims to my insurance until 3 months after I started going there and I see my provider on at least a weekly basis. It has been a highly unpleasant experience and the problems never end with this company. read more
