There is proper studio lighting equipment and the best is that the photographer takes a number of photos and lets you chose which one you like the most before it gets printed. There are too many times where you take photos like this and may go... ick. Now, don't ask for 20 retakes but it is okay to ask to retake just a couple more if you'd like. That would be 5 cm by 5 cm, not including white boarder, you'll want to remove your glasses, no smiling..." They're located down the first flight of steps into Charing Cross station. Service was really fast - the whole thing took less than 10 minutes. They have a small studio set up with proper lighting, backdrops and a high-end Nikon digital camera. They do 'professional / business photographs' so if you're looking to upgrade your picture on linkedin to something a bit more professional - since really that old picture of you slightly drunk at a cousin's wedding isn't really sending quite the right message to clients / employers - I'm sure these guys would do a great job. Hands down the best part of this place is that they share a space with a candy store - huge selection of sweets including many hard-to-find American candies.
