Our wedding day could not have gone as perfectly as it did if it weren't for sound f-x! They had great sound, kept everyone on the dance floor, and made sure we kept on schedule as best they could! We are so grateful for them and the experienced we had on our wedding day. Also, highly recommend their photo booth! The team she hired to set up the venue was clearly inexperienced and even made comments to my family members saying, "I'm not sure what to do I've never done this before." Time was severely mismanaged and the coordinator/owner was visibly overwhelmed. Marilee does not care whether or not you are happy with her services. After the wedding, I tried contacting Marilee privately to express my dissatisfaction and try and find a compromise on the amount she billed us for (which she was unwilling to give any details or itemization of her invoice) and she ended up ignoring my emails. She took no accountability, was disrespectful and made rude comments about my wedding, and showed no willingness to compromise...she never apologized and immediately was defensive and threatened legal action. After trying to contact her 3 times and being ignored, she filed with small claims. The judgement ended up being dismissed. After having such a horrible experience and doing more research, I found out the business was dissolved in 2014 and is no longer legally operating under its LLC.

The cabin was dirty on arrival: dust, dead bugs, trash under the bed, dirty bedding, and a strong musty odor. The outdoor space was no better -- the deck was covered in animal feces we had to clean, the yard was overgrown, the fire pit unusable, and mosquitoes made the space miserable. Inside, we found dangerously overloaded outlets and endured a nearly two-hour power outage caused by the owner's appliance. This was not the safe, comfortable, or enjoyable stay we expected at the price paid. We contacted the management company three times afterward with photos and a fair request for partial compensation. Each time, they refused to take responsibility, offering only excuses and dismissive responses. Travelers: expect a dirty, neglected property with zero support if issues arise. Owners: beware -- your property and reputation are at risk with this company. Many management firms care about guests and homes. Sadly, Sand County Service Company is not one of them. NOTE: We only took pics of the electrical for insurance purposes. We were too busy cleaning for two hours to take more. Trying to salvage a vacation!
