"Vetfriends" is a website that serves to help veterans reconnect with fellow vets and friends thru various content. They make money by selling membership packages and military related items at discounted prices. Years ago I paid about $75 for a Lifetime membership. I ordered a set of dog tags and a Veteran's hat. What I received was cheap, costume quality garbage. The pathetic excuse for dog tags are made of cheap tin and are easily bent with little to no effort. the free P-38 can opener is a joke piece of tin as well. The hat that I received has a simple tag that reads designed in USA..... but not made in USA? Friends of China is no friend to this vet, $52 for a dollar store hat and Tin dog tags, that I waited 3 weeks for, is shameful and not at all serving the needs of Veterans....... I made an order on June 15 and they said it would take 10 business days to receive my now I chose to go with this company because it would've been faster than going through the PX on , here we are July 4 and All it says is label created and it has a tracking number. So when I called customer they excuse that they've had so many orders and they just got their own machine big , here we are almost a month still haven't got it together. I just asked for a refund, don't waste your time, brothers and sisters. read more

This company takes advantage of ex military personnel. They get you to order, respond that it is out of stock, and give you a gift card to spend your money elsewhere on their site. Problem is I only wanted one item. I don't want or like anything else. All I want if for my credit card to be credited in the amount of the purchase. I've been waiting for my credit since December 19th, 2019 when an email was sent requesting a refund to the purchase card. No response or credit was received. Ordered a jacket almost 3 weeks ago. I sent an email requesting the status of my order. Was told they had two employees quit and only one employee handling the shipping. Not my problem. Still advertising all over social media. If you can't fill orders, you need to stop advertising and only sell locally. Seems to be a very poorly managed business! read more

Just received a comment from Keeeha C reference my review on less than stellar workmanship on a windshirt from VetFriends located in South Carolina. They refunded the cost of the windshirt and poor quality embroidery, said I could keep the shirt (with crooked embroidery).I will not wear it. They never offered to send a replacement. And of course, Keesha C doesn't suggest a name to contact. That was the major problem with this company.....nobody at the company wanted to respond to my complaint. Do not buy anything from this company. Cheap terrible quality and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We bought jacket for veteran father and what arrived was a paper thin cheap windbreaker with a crappy stuck on patch that peels off. I refuse to insult my father by giving him this piece of crap. We paid $50 for a $6 windbreaker. Per website, refunds are only STORE CREDIT, unless they authorize payment refund. But even that BS policy doesn't matter because no one there responds to emails anyway. I have reached out to them three times in past month via email with NO RESPONSE. I've given up trying for refund just to be done with this POS company. I have told everyone at the local VFW not to ever buy anything from this company! read more

I placed an order a week ago, and never got a shipping email or any type of update. I called customer service because I also had a problem with my order and no one answered on either of the days that I called. I sent an email and have yet to get a response. I then dmed the Facebook page and have gotten no response but my message was "seen". I really wanted to give this gift to my dad but I'm probably going to have to dispute my purchase because i don't even know where my order is. Update: I got an email back saying I would get a tracking number once my order was shipped. I soon got an email from vet friends saying my order shipped but I have yet to get a tracking number and it's been 4 days now. read more

I bought a Navy hat and it turned out to be the wrong color. The one on the website is light green and the one they sent me is Army green. They tell me it's the right hat. Took it to our morning meeting at the veterans club and not one person said that they were the same. I would not recommend buying from this company. And they seem so friendly on their website. Nice way to treat an old veteran. I have over forty hats that I collect. Should have bought from the website I've been buying from for years. Lesson learned. read more

If you are one of the many people that need to return something, be warned.... customer service is terrible, horrible communication, and an argumentative attitude when they finally do get back with you. They will bombard you with emails (8-12 per day!) to order more items after you place an order. Heaven forbid you need to return something because you will play heck trying to get any information on how to do so. They are not helping veterans, instead only using the veteran theme to make their money and screw us over. Avoid them! There are better, more reputable companies out there!! read more

I ordered from this site for Christmas gifts. The site stated "shipped before Christmas ". However, not only was my order not sent, when I reached out to customer service, she was beyond rude and stated she would cancel my order. I asked for return information and she cancelled and issued store credit. I waxthen told my item has still not shipped, 2 weeks after I initially placed the order. So disheartened as this site states it represents military service men/women. This site seems to be a scam. Very Disappointed. read more

I bought a tiger striped boonie hat from walmart. It was terrible. It looked and felt like misshapen cardboard, and the brim was four inches wide. So, I found a great looking one at Vetfriends. When it arrived I was shocked to see that it was the same one from walmart, same manufacturer (and cost twice as much)! The only difference, the one from Vetfriends was too small, even though it was the same size as the walmart version. Not to mention, it took two weeks to deliver. I gave it one star because my wife and I got a good laugh out of the whole ordeal. Oh yeah, don't believe any comments about products on their website. They must be fake because there is no way to post a review on their website. Meanwhile, I'm still searching for a true Vietnam tiger striped boonie hat. When it comes to shopping at Vetfriends... As a Vietnam vet I proudly purchased 4 hats from Vetfriends. 3 fit perfectly the 4th was too small. I sent it back at an additional charge to me just under $5.00. My husband and I are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in a couple of days. He is a Vietnam Era veteran who is in his seventies but still volunteers at the Veterans' nursing home every week. I am proud of his continued service and wanted to honor him on our 40th wedding anniversary with a shirt that has an embroidered Vietnam Era logo. Instead of this shirt, they sent me a shirt with a cheap U.S. Army patch on it. There was no Vietnam Era logo embroidered on the shirt. The patch looks similar to a badge you might get in Boy Scouts. It's very cheap looking considering the shirt was $40. The shirt is advertised as 100% cotton. It is only 35% cotton. I was sent a return label and cautioned that I need to pay postage. Not only do I now not have a gift for our 40th anniversary, but I have to pay for their mistake. I have written them, but they do not respond. VetFriends? I don't feel the name really fits them! read more
