Just last weekend we had a multi-generation party here and it was a great location! Right next to a…read moresmall park, there was plenty of room for the kids to run and play in, and the kitchen and bathrooms were more than adequate for our basic needs. This is definitely not a fancy place, but it's a comfortable one. The hall's caretaker is very easy to work with. Just keep in mind that he normally only visits the hall once or twice a week, so if you're looking for a place to hold an event tomorrow, this likely won't work. But if you're planning ahead, this is a great casual, homey place.

The residents needs vary. Some have no special needs while others need full time care. Also, if a veteran has a disability rating of 70% or more, there is no cost to them! Upon our first visit, we were very impressed with the facility. The grounds are beautiful, the centers interior is immaculate, and the staff is friendly. They also have a library, a game room, craft room, sanctuary, & auditorium, to name a few. We frequent the center often and truly appreciate the quality of care provided! #LoveAVeteran

Every Memorial Day weekend - Sunday at 2:00pm the AM Legion Post 88 provides a service at the Warren Cemetery. Both the American Legion and the Warren Cemetery (originally named Liberty Cemetery for the township) have stood together to celebrate those that fought and served for the freedoms we enjoy. The program has changed to incorporate the culture change and the neighborhood that surrounds it,,, i.e. the program used to include rifles fired for our Vets, Color Guard and speakers but always has marked the known individual Vets with a flag at their graveside. Now the Norman Police Force teams with the Am Legion. We thank you for your service and the celebration of our dear Veterans along with their families for the sacrifices they have made in the name of our country. God Bless You!
